I haven't read the scriptures in a while, but decided to watch an episode of this series today. I'm glad I did. I have been in a very tight bondage of sin for some time. I'm so glad how these teachers can help us liken the scriptures to our lives. I know the Lord will be slow to hear my cries, but I need to start crying to Him if he IS to hear me and ease my burdens. Wish me luck everyone.

I was crying while hearing you explain the love of God to his people and how you made an example of how love multiplies through giving that love to your child. I wonder how I could give that love to my children. And thinking how can I overcome myself from being slow to obey God. And thinking how can I conquer my fears and struggles on caring/raising my children specially my special son.

Lovely to meet your beautiful daughter ❤️. She is as remarkable as you are.Your teachings are always deep and profound. From the day that I tapped into scripture central with you teaching, I have approached the book of Mormon differently. I am now eager and always looking forward to reading it. I read it with a different light, the light of Christ, not my own. I am truly grateful 🙏🏿 🥲 🙂 😊

Your discussion of baptism struck me in a powerful way. First, the idea that we "never take the sacrament for the dead". Then, the discussion of baptism as a "beginning" of a relationship. I was baptized at age 53 and embraced by a small branch in New Jersey. Now, at 80, I cannot imagine my life without the fulness of the gospel.

I know what Eleesiah went thru. Two of our daughters who went on missions cried on their first months on the field and asked to come home. They were very homesick. The mission field was so vastly different from the comforts of the home. Nevertheless we encouraged them, prayed over them, asked them to be patient and work hard. Time flew, and both finished their missions and came home. We all praised God and His goodness 🙏🙏🙏

David Butler and Grace Freeman are a magnetic force in promoting gospel enlightenment. A quote from President Nelson is, "Children are our spiritual wealth, future happiness is linked to children, families with children need to be enthroned as th fundamental unit of society." Etc. A quote from his "A Daily Devotional For Each Day of the Year." I hope you have your lovely daughter teach us by your side often, gives hope for the future, knowing that she loves our Savior and sharing her spiritual understanding so as all ages may be enlightened and influenced and uplifted spiritually. Wonderful lesson.
