You know I learned a trick to get the hackle to stand straight up. After tying in the wing, instead of cutting off the waste right away, pull the stem to the back of the fly towards the hook and the feather will stand at attention. A couple of wraps to secure and cut the waste off under the hook. Works for me every time. With the addition of a little brown this would look strangely like a traditional adams. All the best, Sean

I use them during trout season here. Between them and royal wulff, they catch most of my trout
