2:55 I have been trying to get my trigger assembly back in my mossberg for 3 days now. I believe the safety pin is catching on the square metal piece beneath it, what do I do? I’ve watched countless videos and it’s like I’m the only person who’s experiencing this issue
@ATS357 Жыл бұрын
If it's the safety on top, not a cross bolt, the safety has to be either on safe or fire, I can remember at the moment. Try it both ways. One of them should work. Let me know if that works.
@KodaMink11 ай бұрын
@@ATS357 I had a friend help me with it. Turns out the cartridge interrupter and the stop were in fact the issues behind all of it which is crazy because I would press both as hard as I could to the sides and it still didn’t do the trick. I figure it’s one of those things where it matters more about the points of pressure rather than pressure itself.
@ATS35711 ай бұрын
Glad you got it. Yes they have to be just right in order to get the trigger group back in place.

I have problem with my Mossberg 590. When I shoot and don't hold strongly the forearm, the bolt moves on its back position by itself and ejects used round but I doesn't have a new round from magazine tube on the elevator. What's wrong with it ?
@ATS3572 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. I sorry I don’t know the answer to that. Maybe someone else will see this and have an answer .
@noot56932 жыл бұрын
I have an 88 and the internals are frankly the same across the 88/500/590 system. You just need to fully pull the pump back because the arms have specific cuts for the order of operations, the shotgun can eject a spent or live shell without feeding a new one in literal fractions of an inch difference
@59jkappelman2 жыл бұрын
My problem is just before that. Thr bolt, carrier, and shell lifter are all stuck in the forward position. I can't get the 3 parts unstuck from each other.

tbh i put grease on mine to hold it in place because thats what i was shown with car parts. figured what could it hurt sense its not a semi auto where stuff has to cycle on its own lol
@ATS35710 ай бұрын
Well that would work, the problem is you would have dirt and gun powder sticking to the grease and gumming up everything. In my opinion.

I replaced the cartridge stop and cartridge interrupter on my friends Mossberg 500 .410 and still having issues with failure to eject and cycle, any advice?
@ATS3573 ай бұрын
I don't know for sure, but cycling issue could be the spring in the magazine tube. The ejecting issue could be a bent or worn ejector. Just a couple Ideas.

Or you can simply use a dab of grease to hold the two in place
@ATS357 Жыл бұрын
You could do that, but I am not one to use grease or a lot of oil. The grease will attract dirt, unburned gun powder and carbon. In my opinion.
