EASY CONFETTI & FLUFFY KEY LIME PIE! | EASTER DESSERTS | SPRING CLEANING AND PRETTY PIES

Hey family!!! Spring cleaning begins in today's video and to celebrate we're making pretty pies! 🤣 Both of these pies would be perfect for Easter dessert!
Confetti Pie:

Ingredients:
2-3/4 cups crushed ice cream sugar cones
2 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup sugar, divided
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons butter flavoring
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/3 cup assorted sprinkles
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine crushed sugar cones and 2 tablespoons sugar with melted butter. Using the bottom of a glass, press cone mixture onto bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. deep-dish pie plate. Bake until set, 12-15 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
Meanwhile, sprinkle gelatin over cold water; let stand 5 minutes. Beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth. Slowly beat in cream, butter flavoring and extract. In a microwave, heat gelatin on high until melted, about 10 seconds; beat into cream cheese mixture. Fold in sprinkles; transfer filling to crust. Refrigerate, covered, until set, about 3 hours.
Top with additional sprinkles.

Ingredients
1/4 cup boiling water
1 package (0.3 ounce) sugar-free lime gelatin
2 cartons (6 ounces each) Key lime yogurt
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen fat-free whipped topping, thawed
1 reduced-fat graham cracker crust (9 inches)
Directions:
In a large bowl, add boiling water to gelatin; stir 2 minutes to completely dissolve. Whisk in yogurt. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into crust.
Refrigerate, covered, until set, about 2 hours.

I made that Fluffy lime pie recipe last year, we all loved it. I think the type of yogurt you used made it firmer so when I make a lemon vetsion for my husband's birthday next week, I will use that yogurt. Audra looks so pretty in everything, today's outfit was adorable.

Love those pies. They looked so cute and glad to hear they are also tasty. I'm not a fan of coconut, but I know y'all are and the key lime pie could easily be made for Easter. Add green colored coconut to the top to make grass then use peeps and such to decorate the top of the pie to look like Easter. That would be fun for a holiday gathering.

I made the key lime pie last week and to me it was ok. I do agree with you that it probably would taste good with the sugar cone crust. I had a hard time finding the lime yogurt so I bought a generic one and it didn’t have a lot of flavor. I even put some lime zest on the top. Have a great evening.

Awwww Manny's excitement on the mower reminds me when my boys were that age. They rode the mower with dad like that too, now they all work together in the family landscaping business. And hey I have the same drawer liner, I used on the shelves in the fridge too. I just might add both of those pies on my offerings menu (I make and sell pies of all kinds, for all occasions). What neat pie recipes, Falon! I think I’d like to do a lemon pie with the lime pie recipe or even a strawberry one. The confetti pie was so pretty! I, like you, started my spring cleaning about a month ago. I’ve donated or thrown away some kitchen items and a lot of clothing.
