No, that's NOT the problem. I was very very careful about holding it back. You now put a ferrule in the line in the kit, holding it open to prevent it from collapsing. You don't mention that here. You SHOULD have, tho. It does NOT fit down into the inner hole shown. It is too wide. I measured using a pin gauge. Go measure the outer diameter of the plastic line, and put a pin gauge so that it just fits into that hold and bottoms out on the wall on the opposite side of the little bit of chamber at the bottom of the float bowl. Nope. You misrepresent this and it is CRITICAL. The line with the ferrule with the lip inside the line does fit down TO the inner hole but not THRU it. The rubber washer I got did not fit well into the threaded hole and abraded the edge of itself in trying to fit it in. This reduces its ability to seal and cinch. I consider this setup to be an Achilles heel. This video does NOT have sufficient resolution to show any of this. My plastic line does not pull out after snugging the brass fitting, which is good, but I can only presume this is from cinching down the brass nut and pressing the rubber inwards using the washer between the nut and the rubber washer as sort of a piston to squeeze it all down. Furthermore, the line makes a bend from the jet bottom mount, which once bolted to the fast idle linkage or whatever you call it, is literally impossible to pull out from the bottom of the float bowl.... I'd probably like a replacement and show you with high resolution video the problem but at 99 bucks for a rebuild kit an no clear individual jet assembly for sale, I'll have to tough it out unless you send me a replacement. It will be crystal, crysal clear. Thanks.
