No. Being introverted and quiet are important qualities that help a person progress in devotion. Because ultimately, a person has to detach his mind from everyone and everything and focus on God if he wishes to walk the path of bhakti. Whether we dance or we sing or we become quiet and remember God, when we do everything for the pleasure of God and Guru, that is true bhakti, true devotion. On the other hand, if we do any of these while our mind is not in God, then that act of singing or dancing simply becomes a physical drill. The main point is the mind has to remember God, i.e., meditate on God.
