Hey, I did this sector too on a Himalayan with a fellow rider around the same time as you. Thumb rule is that you ride next to pangong tso all the way (don’t get too close like once you did when Gautam had to push you out or else you will get stuck) next to safe tracks near the lake and then when Pangong turns left into China, take the tracks to the right. You will avoid the army access tracks that go deep left along with Pangong which is where you and Gautam were struggling in last 5 min of this clip. Chushul from here is another 10 off kms but difficult track. And I agree, Merak is more beautiful than Man. Awesome vlogging brother. Am also going to go solo this year in August. Been to ladakh several times in 4wd, but nothing like exploring it on a bike. Tough but one comes out mesmerised. Am sure you will dedicate 2 more episodes from here to Hanle, since rezangla, tsaga la, hanle deserve to be seen by all your subscribers. Beautiful to say the least and you should do it in detail. The world does the usual Pangong tso, hanle, tso moriri routes. Pangong Tso via Chushul, Tsaga la is done by legends. Keep up the good work brother. Cheers, Sid

Tsaga la is dangerous to get to. It was my first time too. And I got stuck once even with the Himalayan. Am eagerly waiting to see your next vlog. In a way, I am reliving the 1-13th jun’19 ride through your vlogs. Can’t wait for the next one. Bring it on..:)

I've travelled from Pangong to Hanle in my AltoK10 car. I'd suggest to download google maps offline beforehand and use it for direction. Worked like a charm for me. PS: Hunder and this journey is best of Ladakh...... Also start the journey early morning before the glaciers have started melting and inundating the tracks.
