Thanks for the video and especially for highlighting the black smearing. Is it really as bad as it looks at 4:53? I was looking for a monitor for both work and gaming, but it doesn't look like it's suitable for work, is it?

Yeah, it's definitely bad even with the GtG set to the "fastest" response. Unfortunately, I think you'll have to look for other monitors if that smearing is a problem for you.

There isnt any "Overdrive" settings right? heard that it will help with ghosting etc... Also does the colors are very sharp?

Turning off the overdrive? No, there's only a "standard" option, which also has horrible ghosting issue Colors... definitely not. Kinda washed out tbh

As cheap as this, no. I have not personally test any other curved 34-inch ultrawides yet though so I can't recommend any

Okay so there are two things that you need to know. 1. Any consoles on ultrawide monitors will be cropped to 16:9, so you won't be able to use the extra real estate 2. You get what you pay for

Very nice review! How slow does the response time of the monitor really feel? From what I've been able to find, GtG's actual measured response time seems to be 8ms. Would it bother you if I changed from a GtG 5ms monitor?

I can tell you oen thing - you'll definitely notice it if you're coming from a 5ms GtG monitor. It's very obvious. I'm using a Dell UltraSharp U4021QW (not even close to being a gaming monitor) and I do play games on this monitor - and it works very well. When I was reviewing this Xiaomi monitor, I immediately realize that slow pixel response time.

​@@TechCritter finally i got a proper review aside from GTID for this monitor. Thank you, i was thinking on getting this monitor but quite concern with the response time and colour accuracy. I live in indonesia and there is only 3 choice for 34 inch, koorui, xiaomi and lenovo g30. Question, do you ever get a miniled monitor before ? I am thinking proably just get lenovo g30 or xiaomi 27 inch mini led g pro one since xiaomi has low response time. I really want a 34 inch monitor for my work and games like valorant or genshin, but proably a 24 inch and 27 inch monitor would work if mini led seems pretty worth it
