2025 looks to be a packed year for you lol. My most anticipated release this year, the number one with a bullet, is Twelve Months, the 18th book in The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. It’ll be the first book in the Series I’ll have read on release day since I became a fan of the Series after the release of the 17th book in the Series titled Battle Ground. Can’t wait to see several loose plot threads come to a head when it does release…

@ it’s my second favorite Series ever behind only Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere with my favorite Protagonist ever. I always recommend it to everyone who will listen lol

I have heard of Guy Gavriel Kay, but I haven't read any of his books yet! What's your favorite of his?

@@OnefortheBooks That's a difficult question! :-) If you like epic, high fantasy, he's only written one, his first book(s), the Fionavar Trilogy. It's amazing, easily my favorite high fantasy book. The rest of his books are historical fictions with low-to-mid levels of fantasy. He says that he gives his stories a "quarter turn to the fantastic". For those novels, my favorites are the Sarantium duology, Lions of Al-Rassan and Tigana. Can't go wrong with either of those as a starting point for GGK.

I had such high hopes for Godkiller. It was okay. I might read the sequel if I grab it from the library. Super excited for Ashfire King! I think of Alecto nearly every day, it may be my favorite series of all time.
