I read an ARC of Serpent and Dove a few months ago and let me tell you - it is AWESOME! Love to hate, angst, sassy characters, a really interesting fantasy setting... I couldn’t put it down and the ending was just AHHHHH! Can’t wait for the sequel!

I have preordered for Sept The Testaments by Margaret Atwood and The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix Harrow - you've got to check that one out. How do you remember what happened in previous books in a series when the sequels take at least a year to come out? Do you take notes or something? This is something I constantly struggle with, if I don't read the sequel immediately then by the time I get to the sequel I might as well not have read the previous one at all.
