Some are not so easily offended lol why would a mispronunciation offend you? That’s what an accent is, literally mispronunciation of words from region to region. Who has the authority to enforce this? Even if you were the original inventor of this word you must have better things to do. Either way here in North America, we pronounce words like aloominum however we feel like and there’s nothing you can do to stop us lootenant kulom-eter
