Changing Channels was the first episode of SPN i ever saw. I was getting into my costume at Comicon and it came on tv and I was like "Oh, this is that show tumblr loves that has the hot guys and ghosts and angels and crap seems really funny I'll watch while I get ready." And I died laughing b/c that episode is fucking hilarious. After the con I was like "Hey, there's a bunch of seasons of this really funny show on Netflix, I'll start with with the first season. Should be hilarious." Fours hours later I'm clutching my face shouting at my roommate "TUMBLR MISLEAD ME THIS SHOW ISN'T FUNNY AT ALL THIS IS THE SHIT OF MY CHILDHOD NIGHTMARES!" Aaaaaaand a few years later I'm cosplaying as Castiel and going to JIBCON 2016. Thanks SPN.

I am shocked that any studio would allow its actors to film a scene with thousands of bees. Whether they were allergic or not, had they been stung a dozen times or more they could have had life-threatening reactions. As for the snake scene, Jensen's terror is readily apparent. Poor guy, but it made the scene!

Changing Channels was my first episode my friend got me to sit down and watch it she was like "your gonna love it it's a funny episode and you remind me of Gabriel" and I was like "well okay then I have no idea who this character is and I don't know how I feel about that" like I knew a bit about spn from my friend because she would constantly fan girl about it and tell me stuff so I watched the episode laughed my butt off and agreed that I was like Gabriel so because I was slightly confused with stuff mentioned in the episode I went back and watched every episode (it took me about a year and I'm fully up to date) so I'm now apart of this insanely fantastic fandom and I love it

I wouldn't have been able to do the bee thing. I have a horrible phobia of bugs and especially flying ones. If I go outside and I see bees they will chase me and I will literally scream and run away and keep running until I think I'm safe. I would have a panic attack having bees land on me and flying around me. they sure have my respect 😖😖😖

I'mma pop in here momentarily. the only way to really get the venom from the bee is to break the venom sac, which is not possible unless the bee is killed. that is why you can get stung and if you scrape it instead of trying to pick it up, you won't really react.

My husband was a snake and animal wrangler for several movies in his younger days (a long time ago) and at any one time we might have 200+ snakes and reptiles, like the alligator from Porky's, a chimp and a few other animals at our facility in Fort Lauderdale where we lived at the time. I saw the snake in that Supernatural episode and thought it was beautiful and pretty calm. Bees, however? No! Just no! I drew the line at bees!

omg don't pythons bite? I thought it was an albino boa which is safer than a biting snake (I've been around two and they're nice enough). My mom's terrified of them; I just get worried if they're poisonous. The Japanese game show Nutcracker was scary...like might've permanently injured the boys. The bee story is a good one...lol and they're like flailing around. Also 60 000 bees is a lot wow.

Hello Jensen. I just want to say that everytime I hear you tell about the snake crawling on you in the episode Yellow Fever I wish I could have been there with you. Not just because I would get to meet you but because I like snakes. I had 3 of my own. I had 3 5ft long terrariums in my bedroom. I had a Gopher Snake, a Red Tail Boa Constrictor & a Ball Python. I had them all since they were young. I hand raised them and taught them to come to me when I called their name. I know they don't have ears but because I was with them everyday they knew me. Mine were so tame I took them to schools for educational purposes for young kids. I would have loved to have been there to play with the snake.
