Door gunners would be sick, I was hoping the hueys would have them, you could start out with .50 cals and can research M134s and they’d shoot at aircraft coming close to you or if you flew over the battlefield they would try to shoot at tanks.

About the gunpods, I want to think they removed them for some bug or something, it's so weird that they mentioned them on the devblog and then they're suddenly gone.

Hi Justin, try binding your key to Manuall roll control mode. It will make your heli more agile to rolls giving you better control and you can stay angled. I found it great when going with pure rocket pods ground pounding in the beggining of the match or when I hover manually from far away.

I mean if we're talking about guns/cannons for the MH-60, the DAP can actually mount the M320 30mm Chain gun thats on the Apache as a pylon option Personally, im surprised that Gaijin didn't add the M320 mount to it, would've been pretty good to have

Gaijin changing the Devblog for this after the fact is just plain scummy. Originally, it said that the Blackhawk was going to both the US & Israel, but now only the Us is getting it. What's more, it's missing some of the loadouts it had on the Dev Server, such as the AN/AAR-54 MAW, plus the M230 chain gun and the 7.62/12.7mm minigun pods.

Yeah Israel never used the MH-60 DAP, they might get a simpler variant with less armament though, that would make sense

I hope they fully lean into the fanservice and give it the pintle mount miniguns (which can be locked forward for pilot control), add the M230 chain gun to the inner left pylon, and dynamically scale the wings to the short or long versions depending on how many pylons you occupy in your custom loadout (or remove them entirely if you choose to fly clean like they did with a lot of other Helis).

i will say this-blackhawk is fun but it should have the 30mm gunpods and maw that was originally mentioned on the devblog before the devs doctored it and removed it. if/when it gets the gunpods it should have i belive this heli will come into its own MUCH better

The MH-60L DAP was supposed to have a 30mm chain gun according to its dev blog but they just- seemingly *forgot* to give the DAP the gun.

a heads up for any CAS, check the anti-air guns on heli pads to see if anyone is hiding. Just follow where the guns are shooting and sometimes its a free kill.

I’m not sure about other helis but Russian helis with rocket runs can be really fun, lock someone with the camera and use that as an aim point for your rockets at start of a match, can really mess up the other teams start

its hellfire IIs which is the reason it got pushed to 11.3, you can tell the difference because IIs have 1200mm pen and the other 1100mm pen. i wish they gave it the 11000mm pen ones so it can be pushed down to 11.0

Hey Justin, I got this thing yesterday... however, this is by far the worst 11.3 for stock grinding, she's quite heavy yet no armor... big ass fuel tanks that doesnt self-seal well... wiggly aim when using rockets. But I had fun with it by grinding the modifications.

People have provided proof that the Round is nearly the Same as the XM-1 round in pen but the devs didnt listen but the premium HSTVL that the russians have has 200mm pen rounds with Proxi shells at 9.7 10.0 this tank needs to come down to 10.0 but they keep hating on the USA just like the abrams m1a2 should be able to withstand 3BM42 in the front plate at 1200 feet away thats with basic DU armor m1a2 and m1a1 can have Battle DU armor added onto it but warthunder doesnt let us do that Bet they will make the M1a2 Sep 2 and 3 have really weak armor when the M1a2 sep 2 and 3 and 4 got more improvements on the armor from the front plate to the turret cheeks theirs a reason it has a weight of 80 tons
