Brought back some good memorias from when I went up to the Jungfraujoch on 9th June this year. Travelled from Meiringen to Grindelwald then used the Eiger Express instead of the train, some marvellous views and the gondola was near empty when I travelled. Came down by train from Kleine Sheidegg to Lauterbrunnen although it did rain part way down, not a problem on the train. Back to Meiringen and the sun came out again giving a hot afternoon. Can only describe the Swiss train service as excellent.

Sylvia, does a train exist between Zermatt and Lauterbrunnen? I am still thinking of staying in Murren if I go, but I also want to see Zermatt. I was just wondering if that's an easy train trip or more difficult. Thank you Sylvia!
