Everyone always ignores Laos. Laos doesn't have ocean beaches. But Laos has many treasures. Beautiful historical towns like Luang Prabang and French colonial town like Savannakhet. River islands in southern Laos. Mountains and waterfalls everywhere.

Totally agreed, it is the most breathtaking waterfalls in Laos. Went there twice and never been up at the top of waterfalls, I might have to try that next time and the boat ride.

That’s so nice! It’s less than an hour from Luang Prabang and you easily could do a half day trip from the city :) I don’t know about any nearby accommodation sorry
