After the shenanigans last season, the rules for overtaking were changed, meaning that to overtake on the inside you do need to be parallel or ahead of the other car to have rights to the line, instead of half way alongside like last year. Might be getting reflected in the AI behaviour in this game, if unlikely.

FYI brakes are still glitched so it's not worth doing the ultimate upgrade, I think it has to do with the fact that tires just give up and don't have enough grip in them to utilize these brakes idk man this game is so bad and broken it's ridiculous
