Idk theres certain situations it seems like the ADS spam works even without quickdraw 2. Or even with guns without quickdraw. I use it when I'm in a firefight at a pretty good distance and we are both doing the COD shuffle(strafing left and right for those new to the COD shuffle). More often than not, even if they hit me 1st I win the firefight by spamming the ADS. I could be wrong but it just feels that way to me. B4 I saw this video I figured it worked because as we were both strafing their gun wasnt always on me and missing shots while I was spamming the ADS and locking on to them missing less shots. I hold the fire trigger in and never stop shooting also. Now I'm curious if it was all in my head or it actually does help. Well even if doesnt help I've been doing it for so long in so many CODS and it SEEMS to work I probably wont be able to break the habit! Lol

So the peacekeeper can do it too. Peacekeeper is a better version of the Maddox with less recoil. Pay to win baby.

A Praetorian it’s insanely good, it could has attachments that increase its dps (stock 2, which is broken, suppressor, which a few weapons have, and rapid fire... the gun is so good and insta melts people)

it's sad that the best weapons in this game are in reserves, for their weapon classes at least. The daemon, tigershark, peacekeeper, etc.

It is not better than either the ICR or Maddox. I’ve played with it for a while and maybe on paper it’s good, but in game it is definetly not OP, same deal with the locus... now the stingray is definetly op

The hit detection and lag compensation is just terrible.

Because the gun has its own target assist mechanic. It has a lower rotation and it turns on and off to make it random

Bro, I’ve been playing COD since BO1 and I know the things you’re talking about, but didn’t understand them so I’ve never taken advantage of the system mechanics. Awesome video, i believe the aim spamming also helps when people try to camera you around corners/doorways. It's all about centring onto the enemy faster without that aim drag slowing you down. It's the same in every cod, it's just Quickdraw 2 doesn't zoom in when you aim, so spamming Ads to re-snap onto your enemy is clearer and more comfortable in Bo4.

I always thought it was a nervous tick. Kind of like what a lot of players including myself do with spamming YY all the time. It helps keep me actively focused and on my feet. I was playong with a friend and saw him doing this and though the same of it. I guess its not what I thought. Definitely gonna try it. You're pumping out a lot of content keep it up dude

It also helps with just having less pull up time on the gun. If I’m L triggering and go to gunfight someone who has to do the entire aim in animation I’ll most likely be putting shots in before he will.

Heya there J, I got a video request I've been asking people to do for a while now: Movement tricks I have a few tricks I've accumulated over the past few months, some more helpful than others. Heres the list: The crouch jump: Press crouch, then immediately jump right after to jump over obstacles in a shorter time period, or can be used as a substitute to sliding into cover (as the hitbox gets dismayed) Glide faster in a slide: Pretty self-explanatory, just slide and almost immediately jump after to leap (this is like a substitute for jumping out of a door, but more effective) Instead of ADSing to get out of a slide, you could press crouch and jump at the same time, to sprint out instead of aiming out. This is useful for getting around faster. Not really a movment trick, but if you don't find jumpshotting effective, you can crouchspam instead: this works if you know someone is using a High cal 2 weapon, or if you just want to confuse the player, as the hitbox gets weird. Day 1 of asking.

What you said about the madox is true but it also resets the predictive recoil on the gun. Which is the main reason I think people do the ads spam.

Pros dont ads spam while firing generally, they usually do controlled burst which is significantly more effective for recoil.

I thought the slide stop by ads would be in this vid. It’s basically when you slide and stop suddenly right away by ads’ing without jumping. It breaks your enemies camera and aim assist for a 100th of a second which is very effective. Pros love this broken mechanic. Also one more helpful tip, don’t copy a pros perk set up for the Maddox sweat load out. Use gung ho instead of dexterity. It will help your Maddox game play a lot more than dexterity. All pros would run gung ho over dexterity if it wasn’t GA’ed.😉

On the PC you can disable the ADS Zoom-in feature, I would have assumed it was also a setting on Console.

Isn’t it that it gives you the same rotational assist of preaim strafing but the speed of non ads movement? So saying it’s not due to aim assist isn’t really true.

Yes it is, you get the same exact aim assist, not like its stronger or weaker either way. Aim assist has literally nothing to do with it. Strafe speed is the main reason.

JGOD I think what I’m trying to say is that having that already .16?ads time basically cut in half and moving faster is better than holding still preaimed on a head glitch. Cause you get fast movement, almost instant ADS, and rotational aim assist.
