the more i see of duck, the more i love it. it's super easy to underestimate, it's just a block with a little flipper thing, but it's actually deadly. the weapon isn't too strong, but it just survives so well, and uses its high mobility and limited weaponry to such great effect, it's amazing. just a block-o-duck that doesn't die

I love seeing hammer robots even though they aren't very effective in fights :( but it's really nice to see them with flames, with blacksmith!! it's very incredible, I love the team!! but as the armor of the other robots is already strong, it's difficult to destroy a robot with just a hammer, and they are one of the best, with shatter ;)

I think the arenas in robot wars were better. Like the pit of doom caused a lot of upsets by people driving into it by accident, the big bots in the corner and the fact that you could flip opponents out of the arena. Also, I remember a 10 bot royal rumble in the British one which was fun to watch.

The battles should be divided by type of weapon or combination, flippers, spinners, hammers. That way the drivers skill and the effectiveness of the same type of weapon would make a better fight than a totally one sided fight. Unless being able to totally destroy a loser is really what counts, therefore you would have an unrestricted mixed martial arts type also.

these ppl with their flamethrowers and their spike contraptions when all you really need is a scoop and some pushing power to push the opponent into the obstacles. fanning flames do almost nothing to pure steel

not all bots are armored as well as others some are aluminum or have joints they can let the flames into internals; they dont add much weight and in a few fights can be highly effective. Unfortunately since its unsafe its against the rules to pin against the wall and flame or they would be more effective. Wedge bots that focused on pure pushing power are pretty common but they are usually weak to getting flipped over.
