Can't imagine how hard that must of been. I've done some dirt riding but never anything close to that. Great job and thanks for sharing g.

Looks like a lot of fun. Come join us in WA State at the Desert 100 the first week of April every year - two 50 mile laps, less sand, more rocks and the longest bar to bar start in racing... great fun!

Great footage... This race kicked my ass. How did you do?

I am so glad KOD wasn't at superstition this year, I don't think my bike could have made it up the mountain. This year if there was a long section in a river bed, lucky that is the only thing I am good at so that is where I made all my passes.

Where do you go to get this much desert and sand in the United States?
@Offroadaddicts2 жыл бұрын
Southern California 😁
@rockyesterline79422 жыл бұрын
@@Offroadaddicts the only place I know in Southern California would be Glamis sand dunes and that's still not that big Road there a lot with my CR500 Honda and many other bikes

I love Enduro riding but honestly I wouldn't do this race. I prefer things like the Roof of Africa, Romainiacs and Ersberg where more technical riding is required in wet and dry conditions.
@Offroadaddicts2 жыл бұрын
Definitely I love trying out new types terrain! Have you been to those places?

If you hold first place the whole time, you don't get dusted. Just saying.

i hear a 125 in there...💨💨, i hope it has a 42 tooth rear sprocket to keep it @ 60 miles mph for long periods
@Offroadaddicts Жыл бұрын
Smaller bore bikes do surprisingly well. They are super nimble in the turns and technical stuff. They just fall a little short to the 450’s in the fast sections
@davidleonard8369 Жыл бұрын
I raced a 125 in D38 in 1989. I bought the tallest gearing that sunstar made for a 89 rm 125 at the time. Next I went up 12 full steps on the main jet. This advice was given to me by former number one 125 racers Wes Enz and Bob Bell. I ended up 4th 125 in D38 and 1st 125 sportsman in the superstition series. By the way with tall enough gearing on a 125 you can hit 90 mph on the ancient dry lakebed. 666t 22t 666x 4x 666y 1y.

Oh man desert racing here in so cal is some of the best. Desert whoops, washes, long straights, and technical rocks with dialed suspension doesn’t get much better
