Hello Joel, I have a LG G3 and it overheats and gets very hot and the buttons near the camera almost burn my fingers on touch. So I'm hesitant about the LG V20 however at the same time I'm considering of making the upgrade to get one. Have you noticed any over heating issues? I want to watch movies on my mobile so how have you found the heat of the unit after intense 2-3 hour use? Cheers :)

I know the V10 was horrible and probably the worst I have ever used on a phone because everyone would have a hard time hearing me. Seems like someone says the V20 won't fit with the Dolica SG-100 Smart Grip but it seemed smart... But at least I'm on the right track... A couple of cuestions im thinking to get the v20 but im worried about the screen phanton, like the v10 when i was in an app and move to another app i can see the previus app in the screen for a time... i dont know if you understand my question.. :D what about the battery on this days how well has aged? any heats? drain fast? since the lg g2 the battery life alwas its an isue with those lg's The bootloop thing? im very worried becouse in lg its a thing, normaly i whould choos another phone, but the price is good has a great camera takes micro sd and functions that works for my work i really want to know if its stil a good phone to buy. again great channel an videos man keep going!!

Okay, so I told you a while back that SupThin made tempered glass screen protectors for the V20. There's a few negative reviews on it (but remember there's lots of negative reviews on the V20 itself, but we both know them not to be true). Anyway, I just now put it on after having it for a long time. The Skinomi finally started showing signs of aging. I ordered more Skinomi. I'll be honest with you. I wish I would have ordered more SupThin too. I think I will. The whole thing about the rainbow effect, it's highly exaggerated. You only see it when you're pressing down hard on the screen, like when cleaning it. You don't see it when you're using your phone normally. It fits the phone really well and cases fit just fine. The pictures you see on Amazon reviews, they must have hurried to take the picture after pressing on the screen. I think it's worth the money to try it out. One negative thing I'll say is, the center of the screen doesn't make contact with the phone, so you can hear it make contact when you tap on it.

I can't really say much - iv not had any bootloops. The last so called update did seem to make the mobile slower reacting but never gotten a bootloop. Iv also gotten the Ghost retention thing on the screen, which is pretty sad and growing. It seems some say LG think it is a normal thing and don't really see it as an issue... Which if true is very sad to hear. My mobile is still less then a Year I think - so I could try to make an reclamation on it in recards of the screen... but, I don't really like sending it away as I have all my stuff on it. It's not like its unusable but just a little something which should not be there in the first place. I would still buy the LG 20 if it broke today as there is sadly still no other option it seems to take its place. I'm far from saying it is a perfect mobile at all... But taking everything into consideration, sadly, it is still the best mobile on the marked in my eyes. It's gotten a lot cheaper as well since I bought it.

I won't be using the manual mode much because most of the time when I'm with friends or family, there's no time to manually adjust stuff. So how does the Auto mode compare with the other flagships (Pixel, iPhone 7, Galaxy)? How good are the B&0 H3 earphones that come with it? How much of a difference do the Quad DAC and earphones make when listening to FM radio or regular MP3 music? Do you think it is worth its price or should I wait a few months for price to drop?

Sundar Subramaniam you can actually have the phone on Manual Mode, but have the setting set to Auto. That works great. If I have to pick a phone purely for Auto photos, it would probably be the Google Pixel. The H3s are a promotion, and may or may not be running still right now. It ended in USA I believe. I did a video on the B&O H3s here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX29Z4Zmr7uhqtE The Quad DAC will improve any sound when you have headphones or anything plugged into the headphones jack(like an auxiliary cable). It adds clarity, and boost the signal. I bought my LG V20 through a carrier at a discounted price on contract. Maybe see if there are deals near you? I think it is an awesome phone and worth it. I never had a bootloop issue, but I had an issue to where my V10 Kept shutting off. I bought the V20 and put the V10 SIM in it, and put a new SIM in the V10. Problem solved.

Jesuse Solís no, you don't have either of those. Google now is what I use on here. Cortana is Windows, and Siri is only Apple. Google Now is great, and hopefully Google Assistant comes to the V20 soon!

If my V20 bootloop, this will probably be my last LG phone for a long time. I have 3 lg phone that went bootloop and stopped working. I gave the v20 a chance because I am a big fan of LG phones. I like the others but LG is my favorite. It will disappoint me greatly and this will hurt LG going forward.

I work for a phone carrier and hadn't seen any bootloop issues with the V20. I also had the G5 for 6 months and I didn't see any issues. The only one that had severe bootloop issues were the G4's.

hey joel, have you noticed your male end of the usb cable tend to get quite hot after charging. mine got to the extent where my charging port sort of melted and it won't charge as it should and also the inside of the male looks sort of burnt. but one factor to take note is i wasn't using the LG wall adapter and i frequently use powerbanks. you should check out cases from zizo wireless too. they have decent cases for a fairly decent price. i personally bought one but i have yet to receive it as i'm from singapore and it being the holiday season, the shipment took a fair amount of time from the US. but all in all, i'm quite satisfied with the lg v20 despite being a samsung user for since the first galaxy flagship though i miss some of its features.

Ra dos hey there, the Mate 9, OnePlus 3T and Lgv20 are all excellent phones and you can't go wrong. I can't speak to the battery life of 3T or Mate 9 because I do not own then. The LG V20 has solid battery life, and will be better than the V10. But maybe not the best out right now. But the V20 has the Quad DAC, manual controls, 2nd screen, etc. You should make a pros and cons list of all the phones and see what you want most. Hope that helps!

Good video again. Battery life has been good to me. Like you, it is good but not great. But it does get me through a full day, roughly nearing 20 hours on battery on average. I don't go by the SOT numbers that most people go by. SOT is not indicative of uses and the type of usage. You are a heavy gamer and like to take pictures and videos. Your SOT will suffer because of it. If I use it casually without doing anything intensive, my battery will last longer although my SOT will be the same as yours. All in all, battery life is dependent on the type of usages, not what the SOT say.

I mean it is understandable. SOT is the number reviewers and people go by when it come to battery life. And that is cool. Just like CPU test and processor test, they are not true indicative of real life usage. Same thing with SOT. Take for example, if you record videos for 5 minutes and I browse the web for 5 minutes, our SOT will be the same, but your phone will drain more battery. It is all dependent on the type of usages. As long as you or anyone is happy with their phones and battery life, then numbers really doesn't matter all that much.

Verizon buyers beware! Verizon disabled a bunch of really awesome features... smart settings, Google's in app search, FM antna, and they made the decision for you NOT to be eligible for the free 100GB google storage and rather offer you Verizon cloud storage at a whole 5 GB! I'm personally switching to AT&T in the very near future. Just wish Google Fi gave people the option to bring non google phones over (sigh)....:(
