It was 24th of this month, I reached silchar around 4.30 pm from Imphal. Weather was so bad that day 😫. I was driving my alto and next was to reached lumding, I was actually not knowing the worst road condition and what's its like as I have not travelled this route before. Actually I don't want to remember the hardships I had faced while I was driving all alone in the night, only my wife and daughter were with me, three of us were in the mercy of God. Actually there were no proper roads at all , I felt like my little car was some kind of Boat of muds. Somehow after long and tiring ride I came to jatinga point. From there to Maibang is also again horrible since that night was heavily downpour and I stopped at Lanka at around 2 am in the morning as I could not hold steering anymore. Guys Silchar to Haflong Jatinga point is Dangerous road. I thank God for his love, care and protection that I reached home safely 🙏. Love ❤ you all !

I use to travel from my childhood days, but the road conditions is still the same, a distant dream when there will be fine roads, refering to 30 years ago and that too just 103.9 kms to be precise, Haflong to Silchar could have reached by 2 hours but still it takes 4 to 5 hours

NH 27 Actually this is East West express Highway corridor project (Mahasaddak) & should be 4Lane Express Highway.Project is pending since last many years without any major issues.Hope project will complete very soon.

Nice video and presentation. I am from the state of Kerala. I travelled from Haflong to Silchar through this national highway during October 2016. At that time, there was not even a road in this highway. Seeing this video, what I feel is that there is some improvement in the road conditions. Overall, how is the road condition now? Also, if possible, try a ride from Imphal to Aizawl via Churachandpur which is also a dangerous highway.
