Most of the issues of this road can be addressed by 1. Road signage and marking. 2. Proper street lighting. 3. Acceleration and deceleration lanes. 4. Garbage collection

Shifting news, great content. Kenyan drivers are reckless violators of traffic rules. The road itself is sophisticated and well planed. Kenyan drivers just need to be mindful of others safety and follow traffic rules. Unfortunately no one is punished for reckless driving in Kenya !

@6:06 anyone noticed the Men In Black alien spaceship? 🤣🤣🤣 A section of Kangundo road is on video. In future, if and when that section changes, we now have a video to reference to what it used to look like. Nice. Wish though, it was the entire stretch to the Eastern Bypass interchange. If only the massive space on Manyanja road interchange had been used for a bus station.

One of the most scandalous project, that actually made a very important link road, to be dangerous. Almost all road reserve invaders were spared and hence buildings were not brought down, where needed. That Manyanja interchange is so evident of the mess that happened. One quarter of the interchange was not attempted at all, because of the Naivas building. The other side of the interchange, on Manyanja side, is so squeezed. I wish they had the courage to do the right thing, at the right time; even compensate the owners where need be. The contractor (Sino-Hydro) must have been very frustrated, while implementing this project, with no space to do a proper job. Thanks for this update, we get to see the actual picture from a birds eye view.

The statement is scary. It means that the initial designed was shortchanged to suit the needs of the some few groups. Sad indeed, now we have the road serving as a stage at the same time.

@@ShiftingNews Sad indeed. Baba looked bad when he brought down Nakumatt building at Roasters roundabout; during ThikaRd construction. We will forever be grateful for his great courage to do the right thing, at the right time. Roasters would be a mess today. I wish he was even allowed to demolish more as he had anticipated. There was so much negativity after Nakumatt went down. We missed the bigger picture at that point in time.

I can see Kangungo road dual carriageway was never completed. They dualled some sections and ate the remainder of the money.

It is hard to understand the motive they had on this road. Was the dualing a hype to get citizens excited? Maybe it will be a project of the future.
