Believe it or not in the Chesapeake Bay triple tail come up here June July August along with a few Pompano and they both taste good.

If you get a chance fish under the trident wharf. In the mid 80s we caught huge bluefish (so big you wouldn't believe me if I told you) there.

i would go with 20lb FINS XS braid with a 30lb SEAGUAR fluorocarbon leader for abrasion resistance.
