As a swede surströmming gets a bad rep since most people dont open the cans under water (like you should) and instead open them in air thus get the smell. It doesnt taste that much to be honest except fish with some umami, you eat it with sour cream, chives and hardbread or potatoes depending on region.

This may be 4 months late, but I don't give a rip. As a fellow autistic content creator myself... I could potentially see someone being quite worried about a few things for the one they love so much, especially when it comes to health problems easily solvable using holistic means. Also, for being clingy, I would not mind someone who clings onto me seemingly for dear life. Physical touch is my love language after all, so that would make sense to me, truth be told. You could say that if a girl is needy, this is what draws me to a her who's like that even more, I think. That's how I look at it from a general standpoint.

Greetings from Russia! You didn't heard good rumors about Russian food because it's probably not spread in your country, and you judging it mostly by weird memes about Russia :) "Шпроты" or conserved small fishes are actually tasting not that bad, but it mostly used as booze snack or ingredient for the salads or some other dishes. You also can use it as part of sandwich instead of regular sausage because why not :) Sandwiches are just fast snacks when you comes to the fridge at the middle of the night, it's not a peak dish or something :D Besides borscht (WTF with those consonants? It's just "борщ") I recommend you to taste other Russian soups such as "солянка" (solyanka?), "харчо" (harcho?) and "гороховый суп" (pea soup). The first one contains lemon and have a pleasant sourness, the second one might have hot taste. Both are comes with meat. "Пироги" (pirogi, the big ones) or "пирожки" (pirozhki, the small ones) are also tasty and perfect with tea. Personally I love the one with the green onion and boiled eggs and the one with "квашеная капуста" (sauerkraut? sour cabbage?). There are also sweet ones, that cames with fruits and/or berries. You probably also will love "самса" (samsa). This one comes from South Asian part and filled with meat. It's very tasty with sauces that are made for meat dishes, such as steaks or barbeque (they are not included in samsa). And about barbeque, if you like it you will definitely fall in love with "шашлык" (shashlyk). These are medium-sized marinated pieces of meat, usually marinated in onions, vinegar/wine and other spices for hours, fried on coals. This is what Russians love to eat on hikes and in dachas and widely popular among country. Also you will love "шаверма/шаурма" (shaverma/shaurma) (the name differs in different regions of the country). This is sliced fried meat (I use chicken or turkey) mixed with chopped vegetables (usually cucumbers and tomatoes) and sauce (I made one from mayonnaise, sour cream and parsley), and all this charm is wrapped in pita bread, toasted on both sides. This is a hearty dish that is considered dietary due to its rich ration. I hope you will try all this food or even come in Russia! I'm sure you will enjoy it!
