They say it's mainly for small creators as well, but as a small creator I can confirm that dislikes allow me to see what videos work well and what don't. If I get like 10 likes on a video, that's good, I assume people enjoy that content. But I don't know I'm getting 100 dislikes, so I keep making content that people don't enjoy. I imagine the same goes for larger creators as well.

Dislikes will only cause more people to comment harmful words, and no matter how many good comments you get one bad comment attacking you personaly, will haunt you more. About Sadak 2 - That movie kind of came out at the precipice of this huge "Boycott" campaign that came as a result of a pretty famous Bollywood actor committing suicide. Most news channels started causing mayhem, blaming the industry (and later his girlfriend) for murdering him, since he had a bit of a struggle breaking into the industry before he hit big and seemed to be struggling with depression. The actress in that movie got a lot of hate just because her parents were also famous and she got a foot in the door in the industry because of her family connections. Also the trailer and movie were kind of shit so people just found a reason to shit on all the people they were mad at through that one movie trailer.
