MOST EFFICIENT CAR GARAGE BASE - Truly Quick Builds

In anticipation of the new cars, on this episode of truly quick builds, I create a very efficient car garage base that only requires around 11 stone nodes to suit all of your car needs! The base even features some traps for protection, an area to repair your broken car parts, a vehicle lift, and a hidden storage area by way of vending machine. I believe this is the best way to create a functional garage in rust.

I like the design, seems to be the smallest possible garage design which is what I was going for. One suggestion is adding a pressure plate in between the lift and the garage door. Have this wired to a door controller to have the door automatically open/close when you drive out of the garage. They don’t require electricity so it is a fairly simple addition.

I actually tried that, and it doesn’t fit lol. The best thing to do is hook up a heartbeat sensor and set it to auth only, but I feel like even that is risky sometimes.

@@2TrooYT I got mine to fit, maybe it's because i had my lift flipped so the switch was on the TC side. Maybe having it setup that way made more room. I actually setup 2 pressure pads (one next to each other) below where each wheel would drive over and it triggered both garage doors so that way when backing up, it will automatically open/close both garage doors. I don't like having to use the HBHF as it requires electricity; with my design the only electricity I used is the lift which i have wired to a generator to not expose the solar panel. Stacking the solar panels like u did in your video does it get maximum power? I thought if a shadow was casted on solar panel it would not give as much power.

I’m not too sure actually. I’ve seen a couple vids that say they all get full power, but don’t take my word for it. All I know is that 1 solar panel will probably be enough for just the lift.

Perzy True. What I would do is have my own base, and connect this to my base as an external tc. That way you have a flank base garage thing.

This base may be good for having minimal space, but thats the only advantage. You cant even get out of the car unless you back up and open the garage door behind you as there just isnt enough space.

Just a friendly suggestion: I would recommend half-wall roof honeycomb to deter a roof raid.

True! However, I don’t suggest living out of this anyway, and it’s a bit expensive as it is. I feel like just the fact that you can put a car inside is really all you need.

So I built the base thank u f9r the video and just wanted to say the server I built it at was an absolute nightmare I lost 3 kits protecting the base Skelton while getting counterd by the well every one just wanted to mention that I think tc is vulnerable is there any good way to get more protection for TC

Sorry to hear about that! This base is not meant to be a main base. You can always add honeycomb around whatever triangle you decide to put the TC in, and you can always elongate the entrance if that helps!

the lift uses a lot of juice when moving, so medium would probably be best since large won't fit any more.

@@2TrooYT Its not a big problem though, the base is stil super cheap with upkeep and you can acces everything very smoothly. Also you can just place a triangle for the large battery in the opposite of the tc triangle where the workbench goes and it will stil work great. Thanks for sharing the base with us its much appreciated. :)

Hey, nothing really bad about the design, but your suggestion of fillling and turning the VM was kind of a turn-off. Obviously you never tried/played the base you're presenting.

If you had the time to look through the comments you would realize that I had made an obvious mistake. I have used the base numerous times, and haven’t found a more efficient way to set a car garage up yet. Thank you for your input.
