I have always worked as a private duty caregiver to hospice patients. It’s hard on you when they pass but it’s a joy the time you get with them and you’re able to give them love and care in their last days. I have enjoyed this video. You and your daughter have a sweet relationship. I have 3 children. My daughter and 2 brothers. I love them all so very much. It’s amazing what a blessing they are to you. The Lord is so good to us!

Thank you!! She makes me proud every day. She is currently working at the hospital in the heart cath department. She wanted to get some experience nursing before becoming a hospice nurse. I know this was 9 months ago but I enjoy your videos so I am going back through. Delaunay you are a kind soul and hospice is blessed to have you. My Dad was in hospice 3 different times, the first time he was in and I went in to see him he knew I was really upset and he was always a jockstrap, he said to me isn’t this a nice place, you can cook, make cookies whatever you want. I said yes Dad it’s very nice, he said you know people are dying to get in here. He had us all laughing. He came home twice before he was finally called home. Thank you for your service. At the end of his life, my husband had hospice care we’ve been together since we were 15 he died in 2014 at the age of 64. I can’t say enough about the nurses that took care of him. I’ll always have a spot my heart for those angels.. and the hospice manager called me every night until my husband passed to help me get through it. And we became friends afterwards thank you Delena for the work that you do.❤❤

To fall in love with hospice just shows the amount of caring and love that you have to give, my grandma was on hospice and yes the nurses made all the difference for our whole family! So thank you for doing that work and thank you for being a kind nurse, I definitely have a soft spot for kind nurses, I used to work in the medical field and she’s right nurses to take the brunt of a lot! So for her to stay so kind and still love her job 👏 you are the type of nurse that deserves the world! Great video Donna!

I feel the same way with all three of my son in-loves! They are all amazing men, husbands and fathers. I did pray for each one and God definitely answered for me. My third daughter is named after her biological father- Arica (pronounced Erica) Kristen; her father's name is Eric Christopher. The A is due to her older sisters being Amber and Ashlea. I wish me and my daughter were close like y'all. Me and my mom get along okay but we're not as close as you two. When she said not human kids, not if I can help it. Just fur babies. Sounds like someone I know. I've always envied readers. I don't have the concentration 🤪. My grandma is 87 and reads a book a week or every two weeks. In her prime she could read a book in two or three days. My mom said I cried the first three weeks when she had to put me in daycare. I'm left picturing Benson happy and sociable at daycare. What a great video the two of you are so great together. I have the same relationship with my son we are very close just like you my son lives about 55-60 miles from me which I don’t like we used to live only 10 miles away from each other so we would see each other quite a bit but actually I see more of him now than before it’s slowing down some because my two granddaughters ones 18 1 to 21 work and go to school and neither one of them drive so my daughter-in-law has to drive them all around so It’s slowed down a bit from seeing them. As you I love my daughter-in-law I could not have them picked a better one. I would love to see your daughter and James together I think that would be great. Have a very blessed day

I thoroughly enjoyed this video which gave an insight to your relationship as mother/daughter and family. We are also a blended family and I love the fact that each one in the family searches the other out as if they were blood related. I firmly believe it is our own responsibility to put into the relationships to form the great bond. I so loved this Donna! I can tell you two are very close ! That Spencer’s story is funny, I remember that store 🤦🏼‍♀️very not appropriate for young kids ! I agree ! I love the story about how she made her decision to be a nurse very great way to learn by being a CNA first Some people are made for health care and they love their patients Some definitely are not ! With Jesse being a junior in highschool this year he’s trying to make those decisions and it’s definitely not easy ! I hope Hannah and I always stay close and you’re so right about remembering the phases of growing up, sometimes when they try your nerves it’s easy to forget but I am like that too for the most part lol Thank you Delanna for sharing with your mom! Thank you! No, she doesn’t wear any makeup. She has actually cut off a lot of her hair. It was past her bottom but we have cut it up to the middle of her back. She is very “low maintenance” and a natural beauty in my opinion. ☺️

My daughter-in-law has a kennel and she says the same thing that most of the ones that come there are happy to be there. Also James could make some risers and you decorate them. You can get things on amazon like those little balls where you use half them to go around the sides. They can be painted or stained little trays you all would great at this then sell them to us.😁loved your time with you and your daughter 💗
