Not my most expensive gear but I watched a friend accidentally break my favorite rod. I get pretty attached to some of my cheaper gear, I’ve been told to replace it many times but I can’t do it. I got the Max because I've had Garcia in the past years and i couldnt find the Lews Combo in the 7' Medium Heavy. For my 1st set up im happy with it. Im sure in the future I'll upgrade.

Great video. The good news is you didn’t break the combo lol. My most expensive combo is in the Gulf of Mexico. Was out on a kayak fishing for bull reds and was messing with another setup and my good one shot off the yak was about a 200-250 dollar setup.

Most expensive rod I've ever broken was a carrot stix. I paid a little over 200 for it. It was 7'9" extra heavy flipping stix and it got closed in the hatch of the truck. The second most expensive one was my brand new Lew's combo I dropped a kayak on yesterday during a lighting storm trying to load up in a hurry

I enjoy my Lews honestly. And the expensive rods and reels are noticeable in every notion of fishing. The rods are more flexible and capable of doing better movement with baits. And reels are just smoother and have better power in them. But dropped you a sub good to see a small channel that is putting in the time and effort to make that climb

Fresh sub, seen ya on lojos channel so i figured id doink on in and youre a funny guy lol my most expensive rod/reel is my lews xfinity baitcaster combo. With the line and all i got about 110 into the combo and it is my baby lol its 6'10" and doors give me extreme anxiety haha i have had several get decapitated by a hateful door so its rough mkay. I really do like the xfinity combo though, i got it at walmart so its got that "walmart rod" shlack on it but its one of if not walmarts most expensive rod/reel...at least for my walmart it is. They have the xfinity in an open face too that id really like to get but its super hard buying expensive rods when your younger brother puts your rods on the inside of an open car door with 10 to 15 gusts. Makes ya contemplate just how bad could an assault charge be? 🤣 anywho, maybe some point i will have the lews crush combo. That was the combo i fell in love with but was a good bit off being able to afford it so oh well.

My current most expensive setup is about $350 although the reel is $250 of that. I am looking for a better rod for that nice reel, but for now it will have to live on the Berkley Lightning Rod. My next best setup is a Lews Mach Smash (the florescent red one). Great combo for the money ($129.00). Other than that I have a couple really nice spinning combos.
