I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500, I thought about doing this to avoid paying insurance and taxes on 2 vehicles but at the end of the day I didn’t want my personal truck to also be my work truck and lose the ability to use the truck for anything else, so I just bought a used 2020 ford transit connect xl picking it up in a few days from dealership can’t wait to start outfitting it into a mobile rig

I’ve seen H20 do stuff like this. Specially in some of the insane sprinter van builds they do. I’ll have to do a video on a tour of one of those setups in comparison. Yep its pretty impressive to see regular people pull off such a large investment just to create a side job. Everyone has dreams though, most desire financial freedom and go all in to a better dream of what there day job offers. One thing to note is no matter how much one spends on the initial investment doesn’t define the business, what defines the business is how much a business is willing to invest on a monthly basis in order to market their business consistently to drive in enough traffic to make it a bonafide business

He has commercial insurance. Commercial insurance insurers customization and equipment. When you sign up with the policy you put on file to value of what has been customized and you pay a premium to cover it in cases of being stolen or fire.

I think you might be thinking about the past years like 2023. But according the J.D. Power predicted reliability score is the 2025 scores above average in reliability. I’m sure if they do have any issues Toyota will iron it out and make it right. The Tundra is a staple for Toyota and they have to make them quality just like a corolla or any other Toyota. I wasn’t being sarcastic, Toyota is my Favorite car brand, I own several. They’re great cars. In a world of cars that break down its a refreshing relief to own a car that rarely has an issue.

⁠​⁠@@Brandinwagstaffno he’s right, the dealerships can’t keep up with the engine replacements on the new turbo/ emissions compliant engines. Toyota used the 1gr since 2003 and kept making it more reliable until 2023. It really sucks because most people think of Toyota and think reliable like you are saying- but they aren’t anymore.
