Oh so glad you are back! This is a great video, I’m prepping for the next cycle for an advanced standing international dentist program. I am amazed of the price hike on the international programs! 😮

I can see that in Pennsylvania the less expensive Is temple but that cost doesn’t include living cost so at the end Pitt is a best choice in terms of safety and includes everything

Thanks for the information! I was wondering where you got the cost information for international dentist program for UT Health Texas? I am moving to Texas next year but I did not even know UT Health Texas offered advanced standing programs and I could find very little resources online about it.

This one is a tricky one as it depends on individuals skills, comfort and location too. Hard to predict in general for everyone. If one is good and efficient they will make more. On an average on graduation one makes around 150k and goes increasing with every year as you become senior skillwise and most importantly if one starts doing more complex cases.

Hi . Firstly ur videos are amazing and very helpful. I have a lit question for example can i do dds in california and write licence exam in chicago and practice there later? Or i have to do licence exam and practice only in california? What is criteria for practising in different state?
@DrSamthedentisthomie
@DrSamthedentisthomie Жыл бұрын
Yes. You can do DDS /DMD in any state. Then give licensure exams for whichever state you are interested, in the state, and then practice in the respective state. There are ADEX NERB and WREB exams for licensure . Check which one your state needs and take that one.

Hi, for NYU, your figure doesn’t include the cost of living for advanced standing program…. The website didn’t mention that in the AS program table, but only in regular DDS table, so it’s 37,656$ per year according to the school…

Hi, dear. Great post. I have a quick question. Both of my sons will be studying dentistry overseas, and we are US citizens. I always see this criteria of coda universities in us that are accepted. I am trying to understand what makes a foreign university acceptable for a student to enter foreign dentistry programs. Is it simply the accreditation of the host country of the universities? Or are there other accreditation bodies that are important?

Hi @Jameela James, in US the international applicants are required to have an ECE evaluation done for their international degrees. This converts their grades comparable to the US system and grants eligibility for US coda schools. You might want to check this video for the details of ECE kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2fImqShd96NfNE Good luck.

Rutgers tuition is more than that. Their advanced standing program costs about $95,000 per year and the regular DMD is about $58,000 per year (in-state) and about $94,000 per year(out-of-state). Where did you get your numbers from?
@DrSamthedentisthomie

Please clarify this with individual schools based on your immigration and living situation. Most international students on F1 visa will have a separate tuition amount than the in-state and out of state tuition amount

Hello Ma'am. Can you please give me an opinion about the TOEFL score? I have scored 100 and it is the cut off mark for many schools . Thus, I become eligible to apply to many schools, but, do you think this score is competitive enough or should I try to improve the score?
