I'm in Hickory Grove SC and I have my own shop building bikes and I've spoke with Shannon a few times and got some parts from him... he's a good dude and does some really good builds... plan to have a couple bikes in his shows in 2022

"You won't lose any ride ability". Yea right only cornering, suspension travel, hard to get replacement parts I'm sure and finding insurance is a bitch. If you want to look cool and trailer your bike all the time cause the ride sucks then these are for you. If you want to really ride do not listen to the custom bagger guy he is a salesman for sure. I really like this show cause of the drag bikes. They need a trailer too but at least they serve a function and are vary good at that style of riding. If you were wondering I ride a 2008 HD Dyna FXD with the 120R crate motor and a Kaw KLR650 for off road. FYI the handlebar whip, leash as you called it has been around some time. Invented by 1%ers. The leather was in the club colors and it usually had something heavy woven into the end of it. You can use your imagination for its purpose.

Those fancy, big wheel mobiles, reminds me of a certain child's play pretty, The Big Wheel by Marx plastic tricycles! Ya dont see these toys much anymore but at one time they were parked in many yards around South Carolina. Choppers were also an item of admiration ten, 20 years ago, but just like the chopper and bobbers before them, this big wheel FAD will also pass. History always seems to repeat itself!

I've been riding and building my own bike for about 50 years now and have watched a lot of trends come and go. The mastery of the craftsmanship is something else as always, but I can remember when music aficionados would carry their monstrosities down the street on their shoulders, not sitting on it and Duckwalking them. Radios belong in living rooms, motor homes and cars, not on motorcycles. Love the Paint jobs though.

@sll-tt6bj Жыл бұрын
@@rockynone4515 Sounded like that was a cool bite was it a sportster frame It seemed like some companies could modify a Harley frame soft tail or rigid to fit a 750 engine then you could put all Harley parts on wheels front end seat etc and still have the dependability and of a 750 engine
