hey man league start went smoothly (jumped in late in the league) and im now swapping to Crit so this will be the make or break for me I guess. But I went on easily on red maps with the non Crit build so thanks a lot for the guide I learned a lot and I hope I can make this swap work lol

Hi! What do you think about the transfigured version of the gem, LS of Arcing? I am currently trying it out and it seems to do better in terms of clear but worse in single target DPS. I thought this might be a nice alternative because using it doesn't need any pierce anywhere in the build so it theoretically gives some more flexibility.

I had poison lightning strike with pneumatic dagger as a back up if I poison caustic arrow dind't work. That wasn't the case. Now I`m looking for a second built that may be it or bouncing concoction since I'm not keen on leveling again.

Can you not use 1-2 fortify tattoos and keep your wrath implicit?

Unfortunately that Tattoo has the same issue that Perseverance does -- Perseverance actually has the mod "Melee Hits which Stun Fortify" (essentially the equivalent of 20 of those Tattoos), and the problem is the "which stun" part. I believe that some of our Freezes are what count as stuns, but only when they come from non-crit sources (not sure on this as the Wiki article is very confusing and contradictory - I need to research more or try to understand it better), which leaves it feeling quite inconsistent, especially with lower damage. Also, stunning bosses isn't easy without investment into Stun. So yeah -- cool idea, good thinking, but unfortunately it won't help!

@@Lolcohol Hits that freeze cannot stun. If you're close to crit capped and you do enough cold dmg, you almost never stun. So you basically never stun.

@@Lolcohol Ahh nice catch. To be honest, I misread the tattoo when I picked it up. I missed the on stun part. I could have sworn the tattoo said "melee hits have 5% chance to fortify" when I found it this league. But yes, that'd probably be too OP.

Thanks! Yeah so freezes from not crit sources count as stuns but freezes from crits dont. Very weird system 🤔

This is a great build if you want to do one build a league and keep improving it. On a lower budget, it is best for mapping but can kill most bosses (with at least decent gear, and if you know the fights). I'm still trying to decide in which direction to take it next - it can be min maxed in so many different ways and I can't choose!

Damn this takes me back to Archnem league. League started the exact same build and I transitioned to the Squire version later. One of the most fun builds I’ve ever played

Hey, are you sure you've not made a whole lot of mistakes that are making the build not perform properly? I'd like to see the PoB. It'd probably be easier if you chatted to FuzzyDuckzy (I assume you're playing his build?) since he's familiar with the Champ version, but you can also share your PoB in my Discord Lightning Strike channel if you'd like me to have a look

This could be elevated hard with Morrigan Hinekora 7+ link Claw craft + 5 div Squire into 10+ link for less then 20 div and 6 link auras in chest

Yeah that'd be huge! I did that back in Archnemesis league, I think. There's tons of awesome directions you can take this to get it to the next level and I'm still deciding!

Yeah! :) That's another option. Definitely more expensive and doesn't grant the same consistent Fortify, but will give you Onslaught 100% uptime

So i league started with a path finder toxic rain and i kinda hate it, how much currency would it cost me to reroll to this build? is it expensive?

It's actually quite cheap because LS is very off-meta. For example: you can get an 830 EDPS claw with good base crit for 4 Divines and most of the other gear really isn't too pricy. Don't want to give you an exact number but if you had like 10-15 Divines you'd be 100% fine to swap to my version of this build.

Any kind of big pack size mapping strategy. Breach, blight, Abyss, Legion (if you have decent damage), corpse farming, even essences. It's easier to say what it's not great at: expedition (because of the stupid shield guys), Sanctum, bossing

Uhh...Probably play it on Champion? My current version is incredibly ZHP in the campaign and then relies purely on Grace up until red maps! I wouldn't say this is HC viable, but if you're an HC pro maybe you could make it work. The main weakness, even in the endgame version, is that it doesn't have any passive recovery - ground degens will chonk your health very quickly, which would make it pretty terrifying to play in HC

Hey :) Actually not so great unless you use Returning Projectiles support and remove Point Blank. The stupid shield guys are majorly frustrating to deal with on Lightning Strike :(

Bossing is mid even with decent budget, it's bad on low budget. Ubers and T17 requires very high budget. I can handle t17 map mobs but the bosses destroy me on my current budget. But with a lot of investment it'll be doable!
