Do you have any tips on getting this drone to hover on the first flight I have paired multiple times? As soon as I hit the flight button it takes off and crashes.

They actually have really good customer support, the landing pad was broken in the box, I (professionally) complained to them they sent a *completely* new one drone and all, so now I have two 😅 Although I'd prefer that remote vs mine at least the joysticks.

I got one of these as a gift a couple of days ago...cool as shit, scares the bejeebus out of the cat, and the least bit of breeze can send it across the street, through the fence, and into the junipers in someone's backyard. It's calm today, and I'm getting the hang of it. Good video, the instruction sheet is pooh.

@@itsrotorhead66cuh Front motor burned out, so I replaced it with the same. I kept the two spare propellers I had left (it likes to shed them when it crashes), so I have 5 left (after losing another). Speaking of...have you seen replacement props? Third-party 55mm are supposed to work, but unsure if shaft size is standard. I've seen 1mm and .08mm.

okay...29th day on my fourth drone, just took it back 'cuz the cable couldn't make a decent connection to charge. Pity, it was fun as shit to fly. Now I'm stuck with 11 spare props.

should just turn the remote on, then the drone. then apply the throttle all the way up, all the way down, and then back to neutral and it should be bound

Just bought this exact drone unused in the box for 7 bucks at goodwill. After 5 minutes of flying it i promptly put it back into its box and likely will never take it back out again. Its ridiculously noisy, very unstable, and most annoying of all is those stupid round control buttons on the transmitter that should be convential style sticks like every other normal drone uses. Those round buttons make trying to manuever the thing absolutely horrendous. Sharper image uses those irritating round buttons on virtually all of their drones and they positively suck(what are they thinking?)....not impressed at all with this thing and glad i only paid 7 dollars for it. If i had spent 60 bucks on the thing it would be back at walmarts return counter just as fast as i could get it there for a refund. Will just give this thing away to somebody who thinks more highly of it than i do, and that wouldn't take very much to accomplish!
