I'm the first mario in this video, and usually they have several windows to escape and retaliate, at least in my case. Sure the bnb combos arent special but 0 to deaths are still pretty rare even for mario. Dedede couldve jumped off the platform, shielded the second bair, and airdodged the second fair. And Dededes frame data is good enough to retaliate after any of those scenarios.

You got it down just fine. 0-to-Death is basically landing a combo without taking any damage during it, think of Touch of Death in fighting games but for Smash.

​@@marcelgonzalez1151they are, you are allowed to be hit by your opponent when they’re at 0%, what matters is that you don’t get it between the moment the opponent takes damages and the moment they die. Only thing that’s objectable in some of these is that the last hit is a trade, so they technically aren't 0 to death
