Hey guys! Just wanted to say I’m alive and recovering. Thank you so much MaxWrist for your support. Maxy and Wristy visited me in the hospital after the accident and encouraged me greatly. I’m in rehab currently, and appreciate all the love and support I’ve been getting from everyone. Within only minutes of the video posting, people have shown so much love through the GoFundMe, instagram, and KZbin. We’ve got a long journey as far as recovery goes, but I’ll be back on the road as soon as I’m physically able. Thank you all again for the prayers and support!

You can go fast on the public road, but not that fast. 1/3rd of that speed would have been reasonable yet faster than everything on the road. You can accelerate and brake hard (way before a turn or a top of a hill) without going too fast, you can lean like crazy by turning with a super tight radius, just don't do that at speed. You can still have fun between 50-120kph. But for speed like that, the track is the only place.

I've been riding motorcycles for over fifty years and this is the kind of behavior that gives ALL bikers a bad reputation. Not to be harsh but I have little to no sympathy for those riders that choose to go out 'stunting' (hot-dogging, showboating) on public roadways so they can record videos to post on the internet. This is ILLEGAL for a reason! I can't fault the 'white shirt guy' for being angry, although his stopping at the scene wasn't helpful. You would-be 'stunters' go find a closed track, abandoned air strip or whatever. If you refuse to abide by the current driving regs then you deserve what you get! Hopefully you won't hurt or kill anyone that just wants to live their lives!

If it was on my situation (although I don't ride that irresponsibly) and that dude would come and nag at my group after one of my friends fell, and might be in a life threatening situation, even as calm as I usually am, I'm not sure I would be able to hold myself from having an argument and it would most likely escalate from there if he wouldn't leave. Having watched motorcycles with riders crash head on into oncoming traffic, I can say that without a doubt this is not the most horrific motorcycle crash. It is a bad crash for sure, but the most horrific would be when you see the bike hit a truck and explode into hundreds or thousands of tiny pieces and the rider is no longer in that instant. I don't wish ill on anyone, but you HAVE TO RIDE SMART. Riding super fast on little two lane back roads is quite literally asking for major trouble. The rider got incredibly lucky that he had such comparatively minor injuries for the speed he was going. I hope he doesn't suffer long term effects from this wreck. You could be in a car going less than half that speed and suffer life altering effects of a wreck. For him to be going that fast and surviving is miraculous in my opinion. If you ride a motorcycle, PLEASE ride with common sense - especially if you have even a single person in your life who would be destroyed if you died from an accident like this! It's not worth risking your life for a few seconds of adrenaline...

@@victorpena3129 He's right, dude. There's videos of CCTV in places like chine where riders get completely fucked by big trucks. I'm 71 and have been riding since I was 16. In Oct of 2003, a 77 year-old man, hurrying to the hospital because his wife was passing away, ran a light and nailed me. The wreck cost me my right leg, above the knee. I was knocked out, and came to while laying on the highway, I never saw him coming. It happened in town, so I had help shortly after the accident. After 11 surgeries and 3 months in the hospital, I'm riding again - I have an 06 Harley Road King now, with a sidecar to hold it up when I have to stop. I've taken it to Austin, TX (from Columbus GA) twice to visit my son's family. I've heard that there are two kinds of bikers - those that have had wrecks and those that are going to - hopefully I done.

It's not about being Old, young or bold. It's about taking calculated reasonable risk. Educated people in the art of riding know this. Education starts with going to the track and taking some classes. You can avoid "Stupid hurts!" 61 year old retired sport bike rider. I got rid of my 01 Silver and Black Busa with 110,000 miles. Have lots of pics to prove it. Proper maintenance is critical as well. With education you will learn this. Most importantly, avoid the Panic reaction, it never leads to anything good. I've seen bad accidents on turns by people going, easily 40 mph less than I did, while jamming to Jimi with my bluetooth Chatterbox. THEY CRASHED BECAUSE THEY PANICKED AND SCARED THE SH LIT OUT OF THEMSELVES. Finally, if you suffer from neurological deficits, TAKE IT TO THE TRACK. You will get to the hospital within the golden hour. Oh, carry a knife, zip ties and remember, The femur is the largest and strongest bone in the body. It requires a car going highway speeds to break. with a broken Femur, there will be blood loss inside the leg. If you suspect a person broke their femur, notify 911 and they will send a helicopter! When somebody breaks their femur, they will quickly go into shock. if somebody keeps asking the same questions over and over, they are in shock. Have fun, be safe and don't hurt yourself or anybody else! That is All!

@timdegroot41594 жыл бұрын
Starting an argument at the site of a serious accident is never a good idea. Is a sign that the guy is not that smart and quite selfish. And he is not completely right, some people drive hard when they are alone on the road, but when there are other people they slow down a lot. At the moment of the crash the rider was endangering himself, but not that much other people, since he was alone.

DRG Sin maybe, but not really. They may have been going fast but they weren’t riding in the opposite lane around blind corners or anything. They passed others when they could see what was ahead. The reason that guy crashed was because he point fixated. He started to turn then decided not to, then he set himself up to try to low side the bike into the grass, problem was that he didn’t get far enough out past the ditch and he still had a good bit of speed when he hit the grass. I’ve lowsided my bike before too because I point fixated in a corner one time and I was barely over the speed limit. Luckily it happened early enough for me that I had nearly stopped before I ran off the road, lowsided my bike and slid about 5 feet. No damage except to my ego, a few scratches and a kickstand full of dirt.

Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Totally self inflicted injuries - only contributing factors - ego and stupidity. Glad the kid didn’t kill himself but zero sympathy. What pissed the old guy off - some dickhead overtaking him across double lines, on one wheel, at double the speed limit and only a couple of feet from his window. Was he justified or his behaviour, who knows but it damn hard to argue when he’s 100% right. Guys who ride like this give zero fucks about other road users and how their behaviour might affect others, ya can’t be going all snow flake when Joe public reacts like this.
