I think it's more like any character can be hype if you play them in an interesting way. The difference between characters is that some very strong strategies are not particularly fun to watch. And toon link is infamous for projectile camping.

Can't let yourself get as salty as my man at the end, he had two stocks to take back the game and he threw it away like last week's porridge. The only excuse for resigning after one stock is when you're playing random dittos and get a character who is such a polar opposite to your skillset that they're physically uncomfortable to play, while your opponent obviously knows what they're doing with the character they got. Even then, it's not a strong excuse until your opponent is toxic and camping to get more teabagging time.

Never underestimate the Hero Of Winds. I main him for two reasons. #1 playing the Windwaker (HD being my 1st zelda game) and he's super quick or can move decently fast. That is a quality I look for when finding my main.

3:16 Someone who knows tech explain this to me: how does he hold a bomb and also tether grab at the same time? I thought if you hit grab, you will drop the item you hold and not tether grab, but he continues holding the bomb AND gets the Hookshot ledge grab. Does it work differently tethering ledge as opposed to just throwing grab out on top of the stage?

Hitting the grab button usually results in a "z-drop", yes. But when you're offstage the tether recovery gets priority. No tech needed! Other than the fact that you have to face the ledge you're aiming to tether to, and you have to be in range of the ledge. If not, you'll z-drop the bomb instead

Here's the thing, everyone says that the Links are all completely identical. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Literally like the only similarities are their Specials. Here's a list of some things I noticed were very different between Link and Toon Link. Damage, speed, kill potential, fair, dair, arrow speed, arrow drop, neutral air, side smash, up smash, up special, weight, down special, bomb utility, side special utility, edge-guarding capability, hurtbox size, strategy needed to effectively play well, their entire PLAYSTYLES, and I'm too lazy to list the rest. Me personally, Toon Link is the best Link, though I'm biased because he's my main.
