Cowboy shines in those kind of spots when hunter doesn't have custom carry. Every new hunter accessory with custom carry is a fat nerf slap on Cowboy's face it's basically an indirect nerf to his balloon harassing sigh* tough life for Cowboys

That’s that tacit opponent gameplay all randoms wish for. Honestly, I know people say this game is survivor sided but I’ll maintain its team sided. And because I usually solo rank as surv I’ll also maintain that this type of coordination among randoms (even if 2 are a pair team) is rarely seen. I think when I try to make the distinction of team sided to hunters, they want to go: so still surv sided. Because hunters are always alone outside of duo. But if you are up against a group of survs not working as a team it’s super easy to win. So non-team survs suffer too.

does the semantics matter if ultimately survivors are the only ones capable of teaming and duo compensates said hunter teaming potential by adding 40% more ciphers for 100% more survivors with 50% more health, it still boils down to being in survivors' favour if all players are good, teaming is just insurance against parts of your team not being good you'll run into the same result if your first chase against a full solo team is a monstrous kiter, and likely lose outright if the second target isn't bad either

@@Evalora It does matter. Because I do not win most of my solo games. I draw. But full on victories are not things I’m achieving by the bucket. And a lot of survs who solo rank experience that. But then they want to say “game isn’t surv sided but hunter sided” and that’s not correct. It’s team sided. And randoms are inherently selfish people. Randoms have to play selfishly because other randoms play selfishly. And since one bad survivor on a team can cost the game for the survivors, I think people need to understand how powerful working as a coordinated team can be. It matters because unless solo survivors understand how team sided the game is and stops being so selfish they will never achieve mostly victories unless the hunters faced is bad. Duos might have more ciphers, but they also take longer to finish. And there might be 100 percent more survivors but there is also 100 percent more hunters. And if the HUNTERS team up (which is always funny to me because survs get so mad at a legit strategy of hunters working together) it’s super easy to down a surv. And once chaired there is a 30 something countdown. Allowing hunters to spend time chasing other survs before going back to camp. Especially easy in the beginning when only the survs base items are available. I lose almost all my duo games as surv and I lose them having the most fun. Because duos is supposed to be a wacky free for all in my eyes. And half the time survs won’t be decoding but running around. If your duo games are mostly losses as hunter I think that’s pretty curious.

@@whisperedcares i have 98% hunter winrate in duo and around 45% survivor if i recall, the losses all had something in common: smurf survivors that play like tier 6-7 and stick to ciphers like glue if not forced off by a chase or chair (which i guess is like me in retrospect) and a weak player i was paired with because.. and i need you to roll with me on this one...... the more players are good in a match the more survivor-favoured it is, and while being on voip with eachother is the apex form of that, you don't need voip to do a long kite or have someone not completely flub your rescue/sell at a horrible time, you need good survivor players who inherently know how to play the game well and have some gamesense as a result other than that anyway mechanically speaking ciphers FLY in duo if survs aren't throwing, brief contact with a hunter and 100% decode and people can and will pick up a +50% decode speed increase which completely destroys the lack of accelerated decoding, but i don't think accelerated should exist in the first place regardless.. in practice it's rarely that efficient but a coa duo match would likely involve two 60+ kites and 6 survivors split to 6 different ciphers bringing the match to 1 cipher left shortly after the first two chases got chaired if of course they didn't 2v1 right off the bat which they absolutely would, some of my rare losses were 1 cipher left just after i + just before other hunter hit max presence, there was no team, just (abnormally) good survivors that fundamentally and wholly changed the nature of the game

@@iRuninyeah but its too op so they nerfed it. Maybe excitement nerf is good but not the one tap lasso nerf. There was a bug where surv could still be locked when they r dropped but devs fixed it 😢

haven't watched the video yet, but still want to share i remember when i was playing as a hunter with an awful ping. i felt really stressed out (because of the losing streak of 3 games and, again, the ping issues), so when a survivor i was chasing suddenly disappeared, i just stood there but not because i was angry or frustrated, nono i COMPLETELY forgot that there was cowboy in the team and at first decided that i just lagged, but then, when tinnitus disappeared, i genuinely thought that i was hallucinating 😭😭 man this cowboy character will drive me crazy

The amount off times i got called a hacker just because i know my character is painfull, i said it once ill say it again. Cowboy's autoaim will make his lasso ALWAYS hit hisw target if it was locked in no matter what, pls stop mass reporting your local cowboy mains thank you very much
