CDDA is basically crack for packrat like me. The best tool to find of course heavily depends on the context and version. When you first start, multitool, hammer and especially a crowbar is godsend but you will have so many alternatives late game they are effectively useless. Making a homewrecker early ish is a great idea for smashing stuff purposes since its relatively cheap to make but can smash trough a lot relatively speaking. Welding gear and supply is probably the best things to get on average during the entire game since its basically required for any but the most basic vehicle work, recipes and even getting into places. Its very useful whatever its early, mid or late game (only exception was the game versions before you needed consumables for welding and you had all the necessary welding bionics, build in glasses and the multi tool thing that got nerfed.).

Nice! more content. Quick tip though you can check the exclamation mark on the map to see if the corpses are a scientist one or a drug dealer. However depends on how u set the Auto Notes settings. It may just be an exclamation mark of "burning point" for example or some other stuff that can be noted from the settings.

Yeah, there is a settlement/camp mechanic in the game. You can bunker down, and have your followers build infrastructure around you, such as farms, smiths, carworkshops, more bunkers for beds, etc. It's just not quite complete yet. And yeah, you can even name your own settlement. Thing is, if you have roaming hordes turned on, one of these days your settlement is bound to be run over by a horde commanded by a REALLY dangerous zombie. So yeah, that is why most players opt for forts on tracks instead.

Yes, but the systems for doing so kind of suck, and have for years. I generally recommend playing solo, at least for now.

How do you shoot from the roof to a lower lvl

The same way you shoot normally, the only difference is that you can't really see the crosshair for some reason(idk why), instead of using numpad try using TAB to cycle through enemies and fire normally.
