Haha. Bought it a few weeks ago. Opened the box 1 afternoon. Sprayed it. Congratulated myself on an awesome buy. Then kept sniffing the back of my hand the whole night whilst my family looked on like I'm some weirdo with an addiction. Love that scent. 🤣

I bought this fragrance because people say it’s different. From my personal experience it’s starts off with strong black pepper notes with a sweet rose mixed in. Tbh It’s really strong pepper smell at first which I’m sensitive to. But once the dry down kick in it’s a perfect mix of pepper rose and some nutty sub notes. Definitely different I’m a fan of it my wife loves it

Yup and I love how different it smells and glad o blind bought the last 1oz. bottle from Ross. Was thinking of getting the 3.4 bottle for about $35. but I suspect it was fake bc how could the 3.4 and 1.0 bottle be the same price. I didn’t think I was going to be a rose more fan, but this rose smell is super complex and not the cheap air freshener rose smell.

Moschino' Toy Boy definitely is my new fave! I haven't smelled anything this special in the last couple of years. I think it's a very modern scent, that expresses masculinity through courage. Also, it instinctively reminded me of a one of the greatest TV commercials of the past couple of years. Toy Boy summarizes our internal desire to bloom youthfully, as MEN!

My husband who is Middle Eastern loves rose based fragrances and is comfortable wearing florals. I thought it was odd at first, but it’s common in his culture. Oud, rose, Amber etc and other florals that may be considered feminine.

Tried this at Macy's Tuesday evening and ended up LOVING IT! I didn't know about it at first but I kept getting whiffs of it throughout the night and was like damn somebody smells good. It was me! The has insane longevity. I could still smell it on my arm the next morning. It's still on my denim jacket I was wearing Tuesday. This smells so modern and cool. Kinda like a men's version of a women's perfume if that makes sense. Love the packaging. Love everything about it.

I bought this because the bottle is cool and I wanted to challenge myself with a rose fragrance..and I love it actually...and I've also started layering it with bvlgari man extreme which adds a little zesty freshness to the rose and "mans it up" a bit.....really like it together..do you ever layer stuff?

I find it weird that people always mention rose with this. Yes, they used a rose note and you can smell it if you sniff it close enough but it doesn't resemble a rose smell at all. It smells like a very dark alcoholic cherry and a very synthetic one on top.

Truthfully I have been trying to get the right rose dominant fragrance. I am confident and I like to stand out. It sounds like the perfect scent for me. I’m all about the compliments truthfully. SO glad you did this one and that it's at Macy's - gotta gift cert to spend there, and I'm already mulling the new Hermes and this summer's CK One. I'm most interested by frags that, in your description, buck the current trend of "blue," "ozonic," "aquatic," etc. I absolutely cannot tolerate that genre. I have two questions - how often do you blind buy? And - as you are no doubt aware a lot of perfumistas reject the notion of gender in fragrance. I understand and respect that but don't agree. Similarly, the idea that some fragrances are "young" and some are "old" is also something debatable. Do you think that labeling some frags "classy" or for "older guys" might be old hat? The kitschy bottle drew me in completely (I'm a GM, early 50's, super casual office worker). To me this one seems marketed to a younger crowd. Just some thoughts. Thanks as always!

this stuff smells awful. theres is nothing remotely fresh or masculine about Toy Boy. i love the Rose notes . My favorite Rose Blanche Precious Liquid by Richard Heprin. im afraid i dont collect fragrances, i wear them. this one i wanted to love and i got nauseated smelling it . what are you smelling? Toy Boy by Mosichino is a catagorical and complete hard pass . why do some love this. i cant see it.

I tried it today in the local mall. It reminds me of Diesel Bad.I don't get the rose note at all. It's agressive dark thick smelling perfume with some fresshness on the background. More cold season than spring or summer. Lasts forever. Won't be a crowd pleaser. Age group between 20-35. Definitelly not a gentlemen mature man type of fragrance. It's 11pm 10 hours after I sprayed still on my skin and smells exactly like John Varvatos Artisan Pure

I don't think it smells like Pure. And I don't really think it's THAT dark. I get rose and flowers full force I would agree that it's aggressive though. You got that part right. I know fragrances react differently on people's skin. Interesting take indeed.

omg have to come here to add another comment. after smelling it a few times, I realised why it smells oddly familiar to me. it smells quite similar to Estee Lauder White Linen! i know because my aunt used to wear that all the time

Great video. I had the opportunity to smell toy boy at Lord & Taylor. It smells great. I was pleased with the fragrance, the price, and the dry down. Overall, very impressed with the scent. Great choice on the blind buy.

I was in macys yesterday over in brooklyn/kings plaza mall to get a whiff of the new CK scent and I saw Toy boy while I was there but didnt think to smell it. Wish I did.

I grew up around joss sticks, and this feels like rose with an underlying joss stick vibe that is "fuzzy" and almost-sweet. It's unique for sure, but I find this hard to wear because of my associations with the scent. How do you think this compares with Declaration d'Un Soir? d'Un Soir feels like a rose for a man who doesn't want people to think much about his scent, while Toy Boy feels like a rose for a man who doesn't care what you think of his scent.

I have this but honestly when I wear it it makes me feel self-conscious because it really smells like a woman's fragrance to me which is a shame because the dna of the scent is fabulous. I'll probably end up giving it to one of my nieces.

I love it. But a hell of a roller coaster ride on this one. Stupid name. But on so many people's list. Weird bottle. Same brand that came out with the window cleaner bottle. But the bottle is nice quality and stands out. It has rose and some say its unisex/a bit feminine. But the dark rose and wood was giving me very mescaline fibs. Opening too strong than what I'm used too. But it's projection and longevity is super awesome. TLDR: I bought it. I love it. Yeah. The wife loves it too. It's not that versatile but if you find the right occasion for it, you will stand out in a good way.

I almost bought this a couple weeks ago, but it was between this and YSL Y EDP and I went with the latter. Definitely plan on picking it up another time. Gotta love Moschino’s packaging. I know some of their women’s fragrances are in bottles shaped like cleaning products.
