as a pianist, my favorite thing about this is how real it is. it wasn't polished, there were lots of mistakes, it was far from perfect, but it was still so beautiful and it blessed those people's day. a few people were filming but there wasn't a huge crowd and most people were just minding their business. i love how obviously unstaged this is. this is clearly not an attempt no 36, it's attempt 1 and only and that's what makes this so lovely

To be honest I watch in amazement anytime I watch a person playing an instrument so well and think why was I not gifted with this talent. This is simply dedication and perseverance in a nut shell. No, the words are beautiful. If you have been lucky enough to have been loved by someone who sees you like JVKE sees his love, you can't help but feel the words to your core. I was lucky like that. Lost my husband last year, and this song reminds me how amazingly well he loved me and how beautiful he believed I am. No one will ever look at me like that again, but I have this song to remind me.

I admire instruments but one I will admire the most is the piano. I know nothing about pianos but there is something about it that makes me almost surrender and submit to the power of its being. This one made me cry and it clenched my chest and it made it feel like my heart stopped. Except I was able to breathe and balance my breathing. This masterpiece is magnificent.
