Turmoil Heat Is On Game Overview:
Turmoil - The Heat Is On is a brand new campaign with tons of oil to dig up and convert into cash! It is designed to make you feel right at home, but at the same time offer lots of new mechanics and fun features. Here's what you can expect!

Turmoil The Heat Is On Gameplay Features:
►A new town (and mayor!) and a new oil-rich map divided into three areas.
►In each area, new drilling mechanics are introduced, powered by a new underground substance: magma.
►You'll see familiar faces like Edward and Fred and William. They brought their goods with them in train wagons, so you can instantly stock up on all your favorite drilling gear.
►There are also new people, like Philip, who runs a shady card game in the saloon.
►Jack is a new character that runs a magma tools operation from his shed. He likes chicken.
►Anthony is also back from last time. Instead of dealing in diamonds, he has his own store where you can sell and buy all sorts of underground treasures.
►The new mayor is not quite like the old one. His tips are free, and he uses a different auction system. But shares still cost money!
►There's a cat walking around the village! He doesn't do a whole lot, but what can you expect from these creatures?
And last but not least: a couple of brand new music tracks!

Turmoil Heat Is On Evolution:
A lot of the content in The Heat Is On is based on learnings from Turmoil. We noticed that not all of the players used natural gas to its full potential. That's why we've lowered the entry level for using gas. From the start, Left and Right Inc. will have built-in gas intake capabilities. No more expensive upgrades needed, high oil prices for everyone! Overall, the exploitation of gas has been made more straightforward. Experienced players should however not be afraid that the game has become less challenging. Playing the drilling game is still all about making smart decisions under time pressure, especially in the final area!
The metagame in this new DLC-campaign offers more depth. Instead of diamonds, a total of 9 underground treasures are available. Collecting them all (by trading or digging them up) will offer great benefits. Besides this, the village offers even more things to do, like playing a card game for money.

Blitz, you do need more than 26% because the stock is not evenly divided. You cant be sure that someone else wont get 27+% of stock. Essentially you need 51 for a guaranteed win, or less depending on what other people own.

You should upgrade pipes that have two or more of the one level lower kind attached to them so as to prevent bottlenecking. When there are gaps in between the oil in the pipes in the ground that means they aren't flowing optimally. You're missing out on money and oil.

Blitz needs to learn how to pause. Every time he scans its such a waste of time, especially when so much oil is going on, you need to do all the things at once if you wanna get it all done. There is a nifty little pause button next to the date.

Space Cat, so am I but contrary to popular belief we can read; or rather understand the words perfectly well if we take the time. Having a neurological issue that effects the speed and efficency of reading shouldn't effect the ability to comprehend the words once they have been read. I am aware that people experience dyslexia in many different ways due to it being a blanket term that covers the symptoms surrounding the shortening and thinning of the axons in the areas connecting the zones of our brains, mainly the outer cortex and frontal lobe. I love blitz and his content but he tends not to pay attention to things in general and I don't think this is down to dyslexia... I think he's just a scatter brain which unfortunately isn't a diagnosabl condition 😂 however I'm not bashing you I appreciate you sticking up for him and dyslexia in general also I love your name and profile pic 😊

Large scans are not bad; they give you far more value than small scans. The cost is proportional to the radius, not the area. Thus, whatever you multiply the cost by, you are multiplying the area/dollar value by that much as well (since A=pi*(r^2)). e.g. when the cost increases by 10x, the radius increases by 10x, which increases the revealed area by 100x (10x more area/dollar).

Large scans are certainly better than small scans. But often any scan is a waste of money in the very early game, and only viable mid/late game

@@wolflordy3193 Depends how much of a planner you are. I often reveal the whole map right off the bat with 2-3 giant scans so I know exactly how I want to set everything up for the best end-game. At least, near as I recall.

@@catbert7 the problem is you can often plan sufficiently with dowsers and moles while spending far less than a scan in the early game. Allowing you to invest more of your precious money into wagons to prevent spillage, further piping, or storage. Especially when moles will uncover gas/magma in not only the block they reveal, but also the blocks around them. It's like 10 different super small scans. In the mid and late game, the penny pinching just isn't worth the headache of using moles and thinking about crap. So scans are often easier, and your investments and most of your piping is already made so saving is irrelevant

Blitz, consider not the mathematical ideal which you seem to currently assume. While indeed the chance is great that the bots will divide the stock evenly- and thus 30% would be a winner for you but, this state is over idealized if you ask me. I'd assume the least ideal case which is this: where R is the remaining stock, A of n is the stock held by bot n, and, (even though you likely have already guessed the last variable and the formula by this point, I'll continue- my apologies it's human nature to do so) B which is your stock; R+An
