Interesting spot. In general. I find the shelves in thrift stores near me in LWR are emptier from January on when more folks are here.

There are 2 interesting thrift stores in DeLand, FL, "The Neighborhood Center" on Spring Garden and the "Elite Repeat" that supports the hospital on S. Woodland Blvd. Both are small and lacking in purses, but the prices are so low that you can't ignore them. The NC has a rack of new clothes, and several categories are half priced. At ER don't worry about discounts, dresses are just $2. They even have a huge collection of books, magazines, and women's blouses and slacks. In 2024, I found a beautiful butterfly brooch at NC for $4. I ran it through the search engines and discovered it is a Nina Ricci for Avon from the 70's valued at $75. I found a solid silver ring at the Elite repeat for $.50 (cents). I go every week. It's so much fun.
