Most Played Board Games in 2024. Which games have hit our table the most?

Where's BOOP? Because plays of Boop were divided over original, BooOOoop and Boop the Halls it didn't make our lists. But for Julian in total it would have been 22 plays of the Boop series this year

My favorite game is Doomlings so that's probably my most played, Eric plays Lorcana almost every week, and we play Villainous a lot together. We just started tracking our plays a few months ago so next year we can do a video like this 😂 Nice vid, happy holidays!

@HobbyEverAfter Happy Holidays! Villainous is one of our weekday gotos for a quick comfortable famiiar game that still offers a lot of variety. Been hearing quite a lot of people talk about doomlings recently. Must give that a go at some point

@BoxedMeeples A Gentle Rain is definitely my most played game followed by Spirit Island and Votes for Women.

@blueseqperl we played Spirit Island for the first time and Libby loved it. Heard quite a bit about Gentle Rain. Rozie from Cosy Boaardgames is quite a fan of it. Looks super relaxing

You have nothing to be embarrassed about. My top three (thanks in large part to BGA): 3. Captain Flip - 33 plays 2. The Castles of Burgundy - 47 plays 1. Space Base - 142 plays I just discovered Space Base this year and got a little obsessed.

Wow Space Base got some plays! Nice! We actually played CoB quite a few times in person and BGA so I'm surprised that didn't feature. - likely poor tracking if the online plays. We just started playing Captain Flip recently, that's fun and fast 😀

@ You should be able to connect your BGA account with BG Stats. Then it is easy to automatically import those plays into your stats. That is the only way I’m able to keep up.

My top play this year was Slay the Spire. But then since having my seizure this time last year I wasn't able to drive for 6 months so couldn't get to my gaming clubs. That had a huge effect on my game plays this year.

We are yet to play Slay the Spire, but it is one we would to try. It has been a very busy year for us, particularly with our wedding, so our total plays have definitely been less than they might have been Hopefully we can make up for it next year 😀

My top 2 are Skulls of Sedlec and Naturopolis with 64 plays each. Doing the ButtonShy weekly solo challenges will do that though. Walking Dead Surrounded, ROVE, and The Last Lighthouse are next in the 30s.

@@brenig yes was a little surprised Last Lighthouse and The Royal Limited didn't make the list as I've played that quite a lot when away. Think that may have been due to a lack of logging rather than a lack of games played!

Oh mine are on BGA - A game we are currently playing together. I wish I had backed the Kickstarter now - River Valley Glass Works - 29 plays. In Person - Sleeping Gods Distant Skies which I actually completed the campaign - 18 Plays.

We have recently started playing River Glass - but seem to have several games going on BGA now, so by the time we get to the end of the year it could definitely be up there!

Oh we loved Sleeping Gods and have extra content that we want to play again with (along with lots of map still to explore!) How is Distant Skies? We hope to play that soon too.

@@BoxedMeeples I loved it. I just liked the relaxed exploring. It’s not tricky and I almost never felt a huge challenge which I think is different to the OG. But I enjoyed walking around reading the stories and fulfilling the challenges.
