Offer is still available, so you can claim a one month free trial. I'd recommend claiming it for December when all Christmas atmosphere credit bonuses are active to grind as much as possible. And don't forget to deactivate resubscription after claiming the offer

If anyone wants to use it, I recommend also starting free subscription when credit and gold saves are 3-4 days before to be claimed(you can get all credits and gold you earned from premium and wot plus every 7 days), because 28 days you get 4 weeks of enough time to maximize your gold accumulation, but then before wot plus ends, you have only 2 days to grind (until end of 30 day trial) additional 500 gold. Little advise for f2p players.

The problem with artillery is that it has a very high skill ceiling but bottom of the barrel skill floor. It’s super easy to play but when someone is good it’s terrifying.

The only, and i mean literally the only thing you can add to your """skillful""" gameplay is move after every shot. Thats it. The very nature of arty is bottom of the barrel skill floor AND ceiling.

If you took one moment to use your brain you would know that there are two metrics called "win rate" and "mark of excellence". If someone has 90% mark of excellence in their arty and a 58% win rate. Getting kills in an arty is nice xp. The main thing is stunning or tracking assistance gets you lots of xp.

WG really trashed that one dawn.... the tier 6 tech tree Hellcat has better penetration then the tier 7... the old tier 6 Hellcat was better then the super Hellcat is. That was my 1st tier 6 tank at 2012 and one of my favorite ones all along. By the way that was the 1st tech tree line that i fully ressearched to tier X. So my first top tier tanks were from that line (Hellcat, T 25/2, T 28 prot and T 30. I did not get T110E4 at the time because i was pulling the AMX 13 line at the same time and i allready wad the Lorraine 50t before i fully grinded T 30, so i bought Bat Chat 1st

The key to earn EXP in arty is stun damage, which is sad because stun damage is kinda useles in this game when it comes to winning a match. Keep in mind that arty usually doesn't see itself what it's shooting, so you only get 50% of the exp from damage. You do however also get 50% from stun, so 2000 damage and 2000 stun damage is about the same in terms of exp. If you want to maximize your exp in arty you have to go for those big stun values, aka stunning an enemie or two right befor they get wolfpacked to death, pushed by your heavies or oneshot by a FV4005 - in short, when its actually useles because the enemy would have died anyway.... And btw, the T30 used to be the tank with the largest gun on a fully traversable turret... until they released the BZ-176 with its 160mm....

I wish they would add the Yoh tank track mechanic to the AE Phase 1, it even states in the vehicle description that it was designed to still be able to move it it loses a track. The T95 as well.

On the NA server the most popular are the M53/M55, T30, Super Hellcat, TS-54, and M48 Patton. At 148 battles my most-played American tank is the M22 Locust. In my hands, on average it comes in at third on team xp ("terrific"), makes good credits (9.8k), is one of my best xp earners (823), it's stealthy (41%), and it's fast: able to quickly reposition or escape (60kph average across all three terrain difficulties). It's fragile, and it could use better pen on its main gun, but its gold rounds are cheap. I use binos and vents on mine.

I agree, but I enjoy the 155 58 as well. bond gld and rotation with t3 turbo, aim directive and food and the turret gets to moving fairly decently.

Kinda surprising not to see M6 or T29. Probably one of the best tech tree tanks (M6 got buffed recently). I can understand not seeing T1 Heavy as although it is one of the best tier 5 in the game, the thing about tier 5 is that premium arty is there, so a lot of players avoid this tier for this very reason.

Kinda surprised that the Pattons aren't higher on the most played list, considering they've just been top of the tree. My most played US tanks are the T20 and King Tiger (Captured). T20 was one of the first high mid tier tanks that I really liked, and King Tiger was my first premium tank (I'm F2P player). Also gotta say that arty game was actual fire! Did more damage than the opposing Chieftain :D

SuperHellcat is my first tank where I reached 100% MoE - downside, you have not enough amo and the standard is worse. So I played full gold.

It would be a nice addition to WoT, if there was an animation that whenever you stopped the a TD or Arty with a Bracining Blade, that the mechanism deployed. The whole tool looks relatively lame without it; like candy that cannot be eaten.

Original way for AE phase 1 was frontline, I think the first frontline. That was hell of a grind but one of few grind for tanks I actually did lol. I think i actually got it on second frontline though as I think you got to keep the tokens from first one at that time? I think its one of best reward tanks they've done as it's not OP and main value was from having cool aesthetics from the 4 tracks and unique feature of infinite big repair kit. Could be argued that makes it more OP than other tanks cause f2p people cant pay creds for large repair every time on other tanks but, at same time its more nice to have than flat out OP and didn't require any payment.

I love the Hellcat, but one of my biggest issues with it is the dispersion and reticle size. The turret turns slower than longshore drift, and yet there's still a pineapple on my screen for 15 minutes. The amount of shells I've missed high and wide because there simply wasn't enough time to fully aim the shot is nuts. Especially for a vehicle designed for long range engagement, the aiming circle healthily covers the tank I'm aiming at AND it's surrounding neighbourhoods.

Dispersion and turret rotation were horrendous even back in 2013 when i first played. Half the time i preferred to do passive spotting instead of sniping.
