spitfire5656 I ride by myself more often then not, just ride smart and be prepared. I've a few close/sketchy calls but nothing too scary, got pinned under the ski once in the powder (freak accident, don't ask lol) and couldn't breathe through the snow for a minute but that's the worst. Good thing I wasn't on a heavy 4 stroke or I might not have got out of that one.

I know a guy who was stuck for like 6 hours by himself, he got hung up on a small tree going down hill and went in front of the sled and when he cut the tree the sled rolled forward like 3 feet and pinned him down in a tree well, if we didn't find him he would have died there... the silliest things can be so devastating

Snowmobiling is much more dangerous when riding alone but this type of thing normally doesn't happen as long as you know the area and know what your doing.

number one reason you never ride alone. That is called a terrain trap. Most people die in avavalnches on slopes smaller than thirty feet. Lucky they were close or she dies.
