My EDC is a Bersa mini firestorm in 9mm. I’ve owned it since 2005. Never had one misfire, failure to feed or casing jam. As a retired LEO, I qualify with that gun every year. I did replace the spring just because I put quite a few thousand rounds through it.

I have owned or still own many of these firearm’s on this list. The beretta92 series is a tank I have had one stoppage with that pistol and it was due to a older mag with the Spring wore out. Out of the two pistols I had more issues with my glock 17 then I did with the beretta and the glock was good still. I would also add if your going for a shotgun buy a Mossberg over the Remington. Older Remingtons great but some of there newer ones are not built to the same quality. Not to mention Mossberg still family owned American made Remington is owned by some Chinese conglomerate I believe. Plus with the Mossberg you get duel extractors but only needs one to keep working and if something breaks it’s easier to fix on the Mossberg. And they generally hold one more shell over the Remington. I’m not hating on the Remington 870 the older one I owned was great heavier then the Mossberg but smoother action. My buddy bought a brand new one and not only did the stock crack he had to send it back cause it was hanging up when cycling the action it can happen to any firearm I’m just saying I have owned 3 Mossberg shotguns never had an issue with any of them. Maverick 88 500 and the one I own now 590. All of them not a single issue.

1. Do you have Hickok45's permission to use his youtube shows for your channel? 2. the Beretta 92 is not all that reliable. Upon firing, I have seen the slide come back in a rearward direction, and fail, and come off the pistol, and smack someone in the face, causing major damage, and surgery. I think you are a dishonest click bait site, for using, probably without permission, other websites videos. That is theft, and fraud. Show us the permission slips for the other sites that you used.

Generic AI gun video. Nothing simple about the mechanics of a revolver and everything stated about the Model 10 applies to all k frames, excluding the caliber. Same for the Glock 19. They all have the same basic design and resulting reliability. And lastly, a VZ-58 is not an AK-47.

What you are calling the safety on the Beretta 92 is called a decocking lever and it was developed by Carl Walker in 1929 to uncock the firearm. It also is in the worst spot possible for a defensive pistol because if you properly rack the slide the decocking lever is right where you're supposed to grab a hold of it to do the rach. That disables the firearm instantly and it wasn't nearly as reliable as one might think. When cult cried fall when they were testing 40 year old guns against the brand new beretta. They brought three of them up to Modern standards and beat everything that Beretta had. Plus the anaemic 9 mm is still relatively anemic except in very few loadings

Nice selection of very reliable weapons! But if you were to add a 22lr pistol that may be used for self-protection the Beretta model 71 is the 22lr for YOU!!! I've owned several of them there is several similar 22lr pistols made by BERETTA, they are the 70 series starting with the 70s which has a steel frame instead of the aluminum frame like most of the 70 series! 😮 WHAT makes this pistol so RELIABLE is the fact that it is patterned after the Beretta 92FS which is the OPEN SLIDE!! I've owned several over the years and NO MALFUNCTIONS except if the ammo is BAD, not a fault of the pistol!!! It wasn't fussy about the ammo I used EVERYTHING FUNCTIONED just might not be as accurate! I used it as my Concealed Carry piece (2000-2025, 6th issuance) until weapons companies started coming out with micro 9mms!!!😊😊😊

"most1911's are not reliable"??? I call B.S. on that statement. My 1911 was shipped in 1918. It is all original, even the original magazine spring, and has been in my family since 1919. I inherited it in the early 1970's, and have have fired it, Heaven only knows, how many times. It has never been to a gunsmith for any reason, and the only time it has failed to fire is when I ran out of ammunition. Again, I call total B.S. on your statement. So to paraphrase you..."yeah, anyone who knows pistols knows not to make a general B.S. statement, about any piston/firearm, and expect to be taken seriously."

@@davidslone9776 Ok Boomer, So your great grandpa's gun reliably shoots a few boxes of ammo every year. That's cute. If it has so many original parts like you say it does it has maybe shot 2000-3000 rounds its entire life? I have probably done more magazine changes than that gun has fired rounds, in the last half century anyways,🤣Shoot 10,000 rounds through it or do a few season's of IPSC or IDPA and tell me how its working.

@@markedman39901911 reliability varies to be honest. It varies so much that I wouldn’t rely on one for carry. But that’s just me. I’ll say this… The 1911 is definitely an experts gun that requires a lot of maintenance and tuning to get it to run right. It doesn’t respond well to neglect, substandard parts, or poor repairs. If you have one that runs, keep it. If it doesn’t work, send it to a gunsmith and get it fixed. If that doesn’t work, get something else.

My Colt 1911 was made, according to the Colt letter I have, in 1918. I inherited it from my grandfather's brother, who found it in a suitcase, on the side of a county road, in 1919. It is all original, with original parts and springs. Never been to a gunsmith since it is been in our family. I have had the 1911 since the early 1970's, and I have never had one problem with it, other than running out of ammunition. In my case your statement runs to the side of B.S.. Junior.
