I was fortunate, I didn't get 2020 until 2 years had past. I have had no problems with it at all. Looks like I'll be waiting for 2 years for 2024, if I last that long!

Disgraceful! They want you, the consumer, to be so enamored with graphics, that you're willing to overlook all the sins of MSFS2024. Your hard-earned money spent ( hundreds or thousands of $) on hardware, scenery, aircraft, and utilities. And they don't have the decency to give you a workable product. Faithful followers, they wind up screwing, and an apology is supposed to make everything right. This is criminal, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Freakin crooks.

Sometimes the holding point is on the runway and the game sacks you because you enter the runway, sometimes, ATC denies you landing in LIFR mission 🤣 There are tons of bugs at this time.

Thanks for paying to be an Alpha Tester though, we all appreciate it. Naturally as soon as I saw the hot mess on launch I got my money refunded immediately and now the more I see the less and less of a desire to reinvest at a future point in this crapola no matter how pretty the scenery is.

a funny one that i had just yesterday was when i loaded the game to take off from a rooftop helipad my copter spawned halfway into the roof and i could see inside the building. there was furniture and decorations inside? i'm not sure why it was ever rendered because there is no other way to see inside or access inside that building...

Yeah flight sim owes me about 7 million credits cause my plane spawned into the trees more than 20 times many more bugs this games terrible wouldn’t recommend putting your time into it at least for another year or whenever development team decides to focus there attention on bugs instead of exploits

Microsoft... business as usual. Wait, it will run eventually and then they will deside to let it die for msfs 2028 or so... we are 100% dependent on Microsoft to let the servers online... until they don't. I love the new clouds... as in real life they will disapear.

for me it doesn't work too bad. i used to struggle with 2020 and probably spent more time in the settings menu than i did flying in VR, but with 2024 i seem to be finding an easier time getting an acceptable mix between performance and quality. (i use Quest 2 on a 4060ti(16gb) 5800x3d, 64gb ram, 3GB fiber optic)

@ quality for me and fps are quite ok actually, but it’s the VR interaction that is broken (suddenly non clickable items, no toolbar, Flightbag non clickable etc)…

@MrPenguin-m8y yes, i can agree with that. I try to avoid using the in-game buttons and stick to my hardware controls and programmed control settings. (Which is another bug-infested topic)

Career is a joke. Free flight is where I spend most of my time, and world photographer. Tutorials are dumb and some aren't even possible to complete the lesson, such as the very first glider lesson. Better to learn from YT.
