@@darkthunder5097 There is a reason that so many heavy characters take advantage of super armor. K-Rool, DK, Bowser, even Kazuya, we wouldn't be talking about any of them if they didn't have it. Yoshi in particular is interesting, as he is one of the few fighters over 100 weight to have such a massive focus on vertical combos. Most heavies can do a few 2-3 piece verticals but nothing close to the juggling Yoshi can pull off. With that in mind giving jump armor to Yoshi makes sense, especially since that also functions as his recovery. This also means that you can't just do the classic "fast character chips heavy to death" method without putting at least some amount of thought to how you approach. Look at characters like DeDeDe, or Gannon, who only get armor on a few slow/high-risk moves. Combined with their slow speed neither of these fighters are seen as viable choices for a very good reason. Then look at Kazuya, a slow character with the ability to kill at very low percents. But he wouldn't be the infamous character he's become is if that was the end of the story, considering fighters like Luigi have been doing that since the game came out. What makes him so dangerous is his ability to force that opening on someone playing defensively. To put it simply Armor Moves make heavies fun to play, in a game where speed (Air speed, Ground speed, and frame data alike) is almost always the defining factor of a character.

Yoshi has this interesting little mechanic known as Double jump armor. It's not full on super armor, but it lets you just go through certain hits that don't do enough knockback. What confuses me is how the double jump armor still worked on something I thought would have broken through it. I thought that was just a stock gone but nope
