Keep in mind, guys. This game is stupid crazy at the moment, but it's only been out for a few days. You know what else was crazy stupid when it was first released? Smash Ultimate. Remember how awful the buffering system was? Remember how broken the Chromicide was? Remember Diddy Kong's infinite? Remember how much easier it was for people to land Luigi's 0-death? Yeah. Give this game time. I read that the developers said this game will look very different about 6 months from now. This game certainly has potential.

Stop it. This game is nowhere near as polished and put together as smash ultimate. Those cases you brought up are all edge cases, which is pretty much expected in any product. The core of this nickelodeon game is broken, and thats the difference.

@@hueyfreeman5509 Of course it's less polished, no indie studio could ever get close to Nintendo's level of quality. But with that considered, this game is actually quite well-made. What about the game makes you say that the core of it is broken? In my opinion, the gameplay seems a lot more intuitive than Smash Bros. Only three directions for every move instead of 3 to 5, inputs are almost the same for both the ground and the air, almost everyone has good spikes but also good recoveries, you can change direction in midair like an actual platformer, and the gameplay is a lot more focused on short comboes. It may be wildly unbalanced and seem to be missing a ton of assets, but those things will definitely be fixed over time.

You're not the only one. The animation looks like clay to me, the bright colors of the stages is off-putting, and the game in general just doesn't appeal to me. I'm sticking to Smash. I honestly am not understanding all the folks who are saying this will be bigger than Smash. Especially since Sora is out now and do you know how many people are hyped to have him in? Ngl, this game looks like ass. The animations are jank and not smooth like smash. And the frame rate looks like 24fps and not 30fps. And imo, this game is trying TOO HARD to be smash like Playstation all-stars did instead of its own fighter. Im happy for those you love it, but me personally all I see is a jank smash rip-off with Nick characters (and I love all the nick characters!)

I agree. I'm not at all loving the clay-like graphics to this game as it looks very off-putting, and I find the bright look of it to be quite blinding. I love Nickelodeon too, but it's just hard for me to take this game seriously. And the lack of characters like Timmy Turner and Jimmy Neutron is baffling to me.
