Cool video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

@@vannamarie8430 Both men and women have to bring something to the table. You must bring something to the table, otherwise your partner wouldn't want to be with you. If a man is unemployed, has a drug/alcohol problem, is 50 pounds overweight, and is just nasty; then there's very little (if anything) he brings to the table. He will struggle a lot with women. Also if women struggle with getting men to be interested in them, then they should figure out how they can improve so they have better success (or give up entirely).

I went on a date last weekend with a gal I met riding my motorcycle around and she asked what I like to do in my spare time, I responded that as a man at the age of 25 I like riding motorcycles, working on cars, cooking for fun and every other weekend I volunteer at our children's hospital to color and build Legos with the kids who can't go outside. She said the first part was pretty cool and then proceeded to say volunteering was boring and a waste of my time and how kid's are a huge no. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. 3:48 and this, right here, is why I think so many women are single. They want this high value partner who has all these things and meets their standards but aren’t willing to back it up and become high value themselves. I blame it on the “you are the prize” mentality social media tells women. The relationship and intimate connection to another human is the prize, not a person or their body. If men wanted someone’s body, they’d pay for sex or go on Tinder

I'll start by saying I've been studying Japanese for 983 days straight (Duolingo keeps count, and I've never skipped a day) so I know what it takes to learn a second language; it's a lot of effort, a lot of dedication, there's fun times and there's incredibly hard times, but it's a HUGE sign of intelligence and commitment. Someone who knows two or more languages has shown that they can handle a challenge over the long term, and it also encourages more open minded thought; language is after all merely the expression of the mind. 11:14 "be what you want to attract" is such important advice, and I think it's interesting that so many women are so resistant to listening when men express concerns about the way they act. Not saying everyone who is multilingual is a great communicater but learning a new language can make you slow down a listen more. What you want/need is going to be heavily influenced by life experience. The number one thing I’m looking for is acceptance. I know I’m not perfect, but I also know what I have to offer, and I’m willing to meet someone where she is if she’ll reciprocate. Of course, no one should settle for a relationship that isn’t going to make them happy, but we could all do a better job differentiating preferences from requirements.

I can't 100% agree with "Be what you want to attract". While I will partially agree that there is a lot of overlap in what men and women want of each other e.g. healthy habits, not crazy, etc etc. Males seek their opposites in a lot of ways to fill in their skill gaps. A good example is that a feminine women does tend to show more empathy than the average male so that trait is extremely attractive because it can be passed on to any potential children. You want your skills and traits to mesh so that your children are well-rounded and if you are what you want to attract, you'll end up with 2 copies of the same thing.

Hi, Courtney! Andrew Keener here. I mostly agree. Yes. I want my future wife to take care of herself (i.e. exercise and eat right). But yoga isn't necessary. The same with speaking multiple languages. Hobbies a a bonus. But I mainly want to know that I won't be the center of her life at that point. I also want her to dress for the occasion. And when the occasion warrants dressing up ... wear nylon pantyhose (a massive turn on for me). Also I want to cook, clean, and workout with my partner. But the lady in that tick tock was otherwise spot on. I'm glad she was open to receiving and using the advice she was given. As far as getting the perspective of the opposite sex ... I've found it quite helpful for the same reason you cited. I oftentimes ask my Momma or sister-in-law (more often my Momma) for style advice. Mainly in terms of clothing choices (color mainly). I think that I learned somewhere that ladies see more shades of colors that guys do.

Everyone would be single forever if we were honest in what we were looking for in a partner. So there is expectations vs reality and are we settling? Or do we look beyond the physical to see someone for who they really are? Be confident in who you are, strive to be the best you can for yourself without trying to impress anyone and live and experience life. If someone comes along to share that with you, you will know it.
@Matt_is_a_Boring_Name

Thanks for the video. Something to note: the initial list has a lot of particular expectations and requirements, and I think it's a pretty intense list that would require a woman/person to have a decent net worth and privilege to achieve in full. However, you talked about the "why" behind some of these things and I think can be difficult sometimes for anyone of us to *show* what's important to us, and it can be hard to *see* what's important to others without practical indicators. Taking care of your body can look sooooo different for everyone, so to expect a woman to do yoga or a man to do crossfit, isn't really helpful for anyone *unless* you recognized that you're not "just" looking for someone who takes care of their body but you're really looking for 1) someone who shows they take care of their body, 2) someone who has a decent bit of expendable time and income, and 3) someone who has the ability in all sorts of ways to perform those particular types of activities. There's more of course, but I think when we make lists of what we are looking for in a partner, we need to think about all of the whys behind our wants AND what sort of assumptions we're making about a person AND if we could reasonably do all of our wants ourselves AND if we're thinking too much about what attracts us *to* a person versus what makes a person a good, dependable, trustworthy, fun, and kind life-long partner. Thanks again for your video, I always appreciate what you talk about and your kind and thoughtful opinions!

Also, since my other two siblings are girls, my sisters are much older than I am and they’ve been in many relationships and married before, I also like to hear from female coaches of the “now” and girls who’ve recently dated. Yes, I do get feedback from my sisters, they haven’t really been out there “today” and times have changed and they’re in a very different time period. For example, most girls out there nowadays don’t mind kissing or having s** on the first date, or some girls like guys who groom and manscape and take care of their skin, etc. So, I like to listen to coaches of the other gender as well.

A lot of women have only watching Netflix or shopping as ''hobbies'', and that is just really boring. You won't always be able to (and shouldn't anyways) do things together as a couple. I'ts good to have some things going in your life you do yourself or with a hobby club/friends. As a man I find the yoga thing a bit weird (but OK, whatever sport or wellness activity is nice), the language thing puzzling (don't get me wrong, it's nice, but not necessarily a requirement) and the hobby thing also a bit weird (it does serve the purpose of sorting out the shopping/spending obsessed crowd). The most important thing is be nice and pleasent to be around. There are women that for some reason just induce tranquility and kindness into you and that is super attractive. The opposite (drama and confrontation) is of course very off putting.

I find the hobby thing really important. I was with a woman who had zero hobbies that didn't involve a screen and of course hated any exercise. All people need some sort of hobby other than watching a screen or shopping.

@@cur244 Definitely agree. Hobbies can show creativity, passion, drive, talent, and character. If all you do is eat, sleep, shop, gossip, and look at social media all day that is rather unattractive.

Trust me the hobby thing is going to be of big importance. Once you get past the superficial attraction, you will soon find a woman with no hobbies to be dull as a doorknob.

@@booyaaka Exactly! A woman obsessed with sitting is a massive turnoff for me. I'm talking the kind that can sit and watch Netflix for 8 hours a day and see no problem with it day after day. Everyone needs some sort of hobby that involves movement.

I think it is also very important to check if someone recreates in a similar way to you - otherwise that person will seem "boring" to you. This is something you hear alot from women and its because they never select for someone who actually enjoys similar recreational activities. Now, I am not saying that you have to like all the same activities- because you can help share joy, but your recreational habits should be a Venn diagram I think. In my case, I would enjoy a partner who could dance. In our country/culture, everybody enjoys some form of dance at social occasions such as weddings or friday nights out together. I also think dancing with someone helps you to see (for the woman) , if you would be prepared to follow his lead. For me, I can test his leadership skill an passion on the dancefloor, as well as his manners. I can also overcome my own shyness and insecurities on the floor, so its the best way for me to engage in a non-business fashion. Dancing for me is also a way to reduce stress and improve connection, together. One obstacle: meeting hetero men who dance is like finding needles in a haystack, when I am not in my own country. At home in my country, its not difficult at all. I wonder if y'all could guess which country I am from?

Knowing several languages (I'm not English native) opens more possibilities to me. But I also get to meet more women with super crazy unrealistic standards as well. The latest few I met, crazy beyond belief, they dont do bs like that even in movies let alone in real life, but those think its ok to do it or to ask it. But I refuse to play stupid games, because play stupid games-win stupid prizes.

Yes at least most of those traits are desireable. From that list, perhaps the language one can be removed, but the rest are spot on. Healthy, family oriented and a person with inner goals and healthy hobbies is super attractive.

As someone who speaks three languages (working on 4th), I'd love to be with someone who speaks more than one language. That's an excellent opportunity to learn another language or get better at one I already know. Plus, potential kids will be multi-lingual too. That makes women who speak multiple languages more attractive to me automatically.
